crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
*brings out chocolate cake for the regular Martys, and a chocolate/blood shake for VampMarty*
-VM: Thanks. *sips*-
-Docs and Jennifers: *sing* Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. . . .-
-Martys: *hug respective Docs and Jennifers*-
We all went to see Madagascar -- eh. Not really that funny, and it didn't make all that much sense. The first part with the zoo escape and the second part with the actual Madagascar felt like two different movies. I think it would have made much more sense if they had either a) ran with the first part for the whole movie or b) started off with them being taken on the boat. It seemed to be schizophrenic about who it was focusing on -- Marty the zebra or Alex the Lion. And it was pretty darn short -- 86 minutes long. :( At least we didn't have to pay to see it -- though I did get Sno-Caps and an Icee.
-M: Hey, it was at least fun to get out and go see a movie.-
-VuM: We still have to see the new Star Wars, too.-
I know, I know. Another week. And we'll go to "our" movie theater (my ticket wasn't useable at our regular theater, so we had to go to a small local one).

In honor of the day, once we got home from the movie, I went to Hill Valley and had SimMarty host a party. It was a Monday, so the party had to start after Marty went to school. We started off with a small crisis -- the fridge was out of food. Marty ordered pizza for breakfast, and I got pissed as George and Linda "fought" over who was going to recieve the delivery. Sometimes I HATE autonomous Sims. Anyway, to avoid this in the future, I had George pick up some groceries from Lone Pine Mall. When I got home, however, I noticed that one of the showers was broken. After letting Jan chat up Linda on the phone, I had George repair it while Linda mopped up the puddles. Lorraine got a chance card at work, where she was giving the choice of returning or hiding a knee brace for her first stringer. She returned it, and the grateful first stringer gave her personalized coaching, resulting in a two body-point increase. :D Then, when Marty got home, I had him throw his party. He invited Meadow Thayer (townie friend), Joey Baines, and Doc Brown -- Joey didn't show up, though. Relationship wasn't high enough.
-M2: Sounds true to life. Uncle Joey was usually in jail on my birthdays. Always sent a card, though.-
How nice. Anyway, the game made up for the lack of guests -- Linda got a want to invite Seamus over, and Lorraine arrived home with Milton Baines in tow. The party quickly advanced to Good Time (with a number of the Sims drinking from the Fruit Punch barrel straight from the tap), and in the very last seconds, managed to make it to Roof Raiser. :D Pictures:

-VM: Nice.-
-J: Where were we? Haven't you moved us in yet?-
*blush* Well, no.
-AJ: *pokes* Move us in, then.-
I already decided to the next time I play. I just need to look at house pictures again.
-J2: Good. SimMarty needs SimJennifer.-
-M2: Amen to that.-
