An Example of One of My Thought Chains

juliejordan replied to foxywriter saying how much she loved Pirates of the Carribean and how much she's looking forward to the sequel (part of a short thread in which she wondered about a PotC/BTTF crossover). My thoughts:
"Eh, I'm not looking forward to that sequel. Every time I see Davey Jones in the previews, I keep wanting to quote what little Lovecraft I know. 'Let the eldritch increase!' Besides, I can't exactly see Doc as a pirate. I think he'd make a better ninja.
. . .Then again, that might be another rogue plot bunny from Ael.
*tries to picture Doc as a pirate* Eh, still can't see it. Though he looks good with the sword. Hehehe, swordmaster Doc.
No, Zorro!Doc! But instead of the Z, he makes a Y! Because that's what the flux capacitor looks like!
. . .Why the hell am I thinking so hard about this again?

-D: I don't understand this fascination with giving me a sword. I'm a quantum physicist and a mechanic. Wouldn't a highly-complicated death ray be more appropriate?

*giggle* Well, you do get a lightning gun at some point. But I like the idea of giving you a sword. You're fairly agile for your age -- you did pretty darn well in climbing all over that train in Part III. You could probably hold your own for a while in a sword fight.
-TD: And who says you couldn't modify the sword for your own purposes? *retrieves firesword*-

-VD: You seem to have ignored the fact I appear to be relatively peace-loving, despite any ethical lapses.-
I'm not saying you'd INITIATE the swordfight. I'm saying you could hold your own.
-DW: I can't believe I'm weighing in on this debate, but why do you think I'd make a better ninja?-
I dunno. Agility, quick thinking, I can picture you better in ninja robes--

I'm going with ninja for both. Marty has to be a ninja, he's really good at sneaking up on people. Witness his smooth moves in Part II, chasing after the Almanac.

Got a nice chunk done on "BTTX-2," and I'm doing a bit of editing on "V.D." Also plan to write a little more on my one-off before bed.

This is less about display and more about reference. Now I have something definite to refer back to when I write "Definition of a Friend."

Yeah -- it's my game plan for a particular segment. I keep mapping it out in my head lately -- a bit annoying, given my more recent projects.

I'll see -- Gil's hairstyle looks very girly at the moment. I'll have to decide which version of his hair I'll go with -- fluffy101 or limperAdvanced.

Heh, true. *makes a note* I'm also finding myself crossing over Marvel and GG in a rather interesting way--

Not quite like that. I can't get over the idea of Bang Dupree fangirling Wolverine. And recently Von Pinn fangirling Cyclops.
-DW: *eyebrow raised* That's a little odd, yes.-
But fun. :)
And somehow that led to my little "dirty GG cartoon" thought again. . . . One of these days I have to learn how to draw so I can get these ideas out of my head and onto paper.
Okay, back to writing before I get distracted again.
