Yeah, and I got my written page of "Boy Genius" -- but everything else looks like a bust. :( I got on a bit later today (damn line in the bank) so I ended up staying online later.
-D: Then Sims altered your schedule even more?-
Worse. I remembered that tonight was the beginning of "Eureka" on Sci-Fi.
-TD: Ooooo!-
-VD: Actually, we wouldn't mind you slacking off so much for that. How was it?-
So-so. There were a number of funny moments and interesting inventions -- the problem is, we also get into cliche-land. And there's some sort of governmental conspiracy thing that will rule the whole show. If I wanted governmental conspiracy, I'd watch "X-Files."
-VD2: You HAVE watched "X-Files."-
I mean on a regular basis. Let me put it this way -- the commercials are NOT indicative of the show.
-Docs: *disappointed* Awwwww. . . .-
There was some good stuff in there (magnetic levitation device, taychon supercollider, square bubbles), but still, not as cool as the commercials. I wanted to see them "build" the house for Jack, at least.
-TD: *sigh* You win some, you lose some.-
Yeah, I know. What I really want is for someone to make a TV show out of "Girl Genius." The Foglios themselves talk about
a movie, but I seriously think a TV show would be better adapted. We already have voices for a number of the main characters (if the Foglios and their colorist will keep doing the voice work). I even have a prologue in my head for the pilot episode.
-DW: *holds up bunny* We've noticed. You really ought to write this out.-
I know -- perhaps it'll be my contribution to the drabbles100 list I put up on the FanFic Yahoo Group.

Okay, time to see if I can get anything done before I got to bed.

Ha ha. I want to get into bed a bit earlier, see if I can catch up on my sleep.
