Last Day of the West
And at least some of the angst is resolved -- Marty avoids getting killed by Buford, and even gets a chance to send him into manure, and Doc and Clara reconcile. Unfortunately, where they choose to do so is on the speeding train that's supposed to get Doc and Marty back to the future. After some unpleasantness involving near-death experiences, Doc and Clara hover off into the sunset early morning, while Marty makes it back home.
-M: Thinking he's never going to see his best friend again. Man, the Part III trip really was tough.-
Yeah -- luckily October makes things better.
In other news, a busy day on the LJ front: Lucy's had her birthday party,
revison_doc updated with all the Von Braun/Shaw college kids, and Victor's having a weird day in the Nexus. Gotta make a post for him and Alice in one of their journals after this -- I gloss over enough stuff between my mains.
-RPD: I've noticed that. Sick of playercesting?-
I don't mind talking to myself so much, it just fills up my inbox something awful.
On the college front, a rather slow day -- I took the bus up there, found my classroom, met my teacher, all that good "first day" stuff. My class today was Composition I, so basically we're going to be doing a lot of reading, then a lot of papers on what we've read. The teacher seems like a nice enough guy, and it's nothing I haven't done before, so. . . .
That was actually the only class I had today -- my other ones should have started on Monday, but as that was a holiday. . . . I'll be starting those tomorrow. So after class I went down to the cafeteria (after getting myself a bit lost), had my lunch, and played some Majhong Titans on Chester the Laptop. Tried to connect to the wifi down there, but it was being fussy. Another time, perhaps. Still, not a bad first day overall.
-D: *patpats* And you'll be fine tomorrow, too.-
I hope so. At least I found my old backpack so I don't have to lug around fifty million bags. . . .
