Another Quiet Night

Helped along by the fact the afternoon bus has come on time twice in a row this week! Dare I hope for three times? We'll see tomorrow, I suppose!

Anyway, things that happened tonight:

-->Played DragonVale -- after a couple of crashes, managed to get the gift for today, which was one of the free dragon giveaways. The fact that the day was marked with three eggs made me think we might be getting three random dragons, but instead it was "Hey, you know those mascot dragons we have for the Pentatournament? Yeah, you want another one for free?" Since I already have the Hidden Bolt from joining that house, I went ahead and grabbed the Blazing Gale. :D And there's another day like this coming up -- I hope that time we get to choose from the different Olympus dragons in each tier! I could use another break in ring spending. . .

-->Wrote some more on Chapter 10 of "In The Land of the Dead." This version of the chapter's shaping up to be a rather different animal from the last -- which I'm honestly glad of. Trying to recreate the old chapter exactly would be too stressful and just make me all sad again about my idiot moment. I'm liking the new direction, and the important stuff is still intact in my brain, so that helps. Also, I'm making WEEKLY backups a thing now. I do NOT want to be stuck in that situation ever again.

-->Saw a new chapter of what I was starting to think was a dead fic was suddenly posted -- cool beans~

-->Did Forgotten's queue, which was pretty decent-sized but not overwhelming (helped that I could draft a lot of replies early during lunch today)

So yeah, not too shabby, I think. The only downside is the weather, which can't decide if it wants to be cooler and a bit rainy, or hot and muggy again. It's supposed to split the difference with some decent heat and low humidity tomorrow -- keep your fingers crossed it actually ends up that way.

As for me, time to hit the sheets -- still need my sleep and all, even if I'm past the worst of my period. Night!
