crossover_chick: Victor leaning over to look at a blue butterfly in a glass jar (CB: i has a happy thing)
Mom and Dad spent most of the day at open houses (since we're trying to find a new place to live), meaning I had the place to myself most of the day. Been a while since that happened -- was kinda nice. :) Anyway, accomplishments:

-->Wrote a bunch on Chapter 8 of "Remembering You," redoing the entire section with Witless into something that I felt made a lot more sense for her character. Damn, it's nice when a chapter that was giving me trouble before just suddenly works. Again, no way it'll be ready for this Friday, but I'm a lot more confident it'll be ready for the next one.

-->Watched Helloween do a level of Shantae, Half-Genie Hero, a Kickstartered platform game that looks really cute and is very well-animated. And has a great soundtrack Helloween had nothing but praise for it, and I don't blame him. It's always a bit curious to see him do something cutesy on this channel, but hey, it's a nice change of pace too.

-->Also watched his latest two Dead Space sets -- this game has held up REALLY WELL for 2008. The graphics are good, the enemies are freaky, the plot is interesting -- this is just a good game. There's occasional physics glitches, like a sad moment being ruined by a lady immediately contorting upon death, but other than that, it's really great. And Helloween's commentary remains hilarious. As well as his reactions to the monsters. I really love that man. XD

-->Driving lesson -- still working on backing up. I can do it all right sometimes, but getting in straight is still an issue. (Though that can be an issue with regular old parking too -- I tend to overcorrect still.) I also accidentally cut some people off on the way back by not reading a light right -- I had green, but it's one of those with an arrow, and I went when I should have stopped and let the people on the other side go first. And I overshot our driveway again -- that turn should not be so difficult! Ugh -- well, this is the whole reason I'm waiting until next year to get my actual license. Obviously I need all the practice I can get to avoid these mistakes.

-->Played Sims 4 -- Marty and Jennifer are officially married now! They got married at the museum just like Victor and Alice, and got Gold level just like them as well. Though I ended up selling the microwave and the coffee maker rewards in their case -- they're doing fine in the kitchen without them. Kept the decorative stuff, though. I'll have to pop them off for a little honeymoon next time I play them too -- if they can afford it. They don't have that much in the bank, hmmm. . .

Aaand that's about it for the productive stuff. Except that I forgot to answer that PM from yesterday, darn. . .better go get on that. Night!
