Get-It-Done Thursday
Jun. 21st, 2018 10:59 pmAnd I did get it done -- credit card charges, direct debits, reports, imports, even some sorting through old credit card promise pledges and helping out with making a file for some billing statements for my coworker. So a productive Thursday. Even if, with various interruptions, those last reports I had to run kind of came down to the wire. Just glad it all got done! My weekend is now free and clear, at least on the work side.
Can't really complain about my afternoon either -- some dark clouds rolled in around the time I left work, but it never actually rained, which is good. Got in my walk; had supper; got another gift fic written for another upcoming birthday; watched Helloween's look at Blasphemous, a 2-D pixel-art platformer that he helped fund on Kickstarter (it's very nice-looking, and Hells was clearly enjoying the combat); and then watched two episodes of "Super Sim" (just hit Episode 60! At this point in the LP, James only has the City Living Location aspiration to complete (so Max and company are now living in San Myshuno), and two skills to conquer (DJ and Wellness). And a bunch of careers, but he was worried that the LP was going to get boring if he only had that to do. . .obviously, given I still have over 30 episodes to go, it doesn't, but hey, he didn't know that at the time XD). He's also got a new Rags to Riches LP out for Seasons (looks like it focuses on gardening and beekeeping) -- threw that in the Watch Later queue. :)
Not much else to report -- caught up on websites and did my ValiceMultiverse queue. Nothing special. Might try to get a little more of my VictorLuvsAlice queue settled in a bit. And I do have some messaging going on there, so I'd better get back to that. We'll see what tomorrow brings -- shopping trip's still on, at least. Hopefully I can find what I'm looking for, bra-wise. . . G'night all!
