crossover_chick: Victor leaning over to look at a blue butterfly in a glass jar (CB: i has a happy thing)
At least until Marty gets measured for his coffin and Doc makes the disastrous decision to tell Clara about where he's really from without offering any sort of proper proof. Yeah, that Sunday wasn't exactly great shakes for them, was it? Of course, all the real shit goes down tomorrow, which is when I'm watching the actual movie. :) Been a while, so looking forward to it!

Anyway, as for Sunday itself, I can't complain too much. There were a few annoying things, but I did get what I was hoping to get done, done:

-->Had a largely "death and horrors, but in a funny way" day on YouTube:

A) I believe I told you guys about this one last night – Osana is finally in Yandere Simulator, that glitchy mess of a game that Jay from the Kubz Scouts has built at least part of his channel around. XD And he has been busy making the most of YS having a proper DEMO with a proper RIVAL now:

1. The initial video, which shows off a bunch of Osana's conversations with Senpai, and a few different ways to eliminate her (like, uh, just asking her to go away after completing her friend task, which gets her far enough away from her "guard" Raibaru to get stabbed without you getting your arm broken – does break Raibaru, though XD). The "decapitation by cooling fan" method is apparently so gruesome Jay didn't even show it! Yeeps. . .But yeah, this was sort of a "taster episode" showing off a bunch of stuff you can do with her. Not a fan of the new "fuzzy angles" on the camera, but hey – nice to see the game in an actual DEMO state instead of the perpetual bug-fixing build.

2. Second video focused mainly on befriending Osana and taking care of the "big problem" that will allow you to actually ask her to please not pursue Senpai romantically – in her case, it's a stalker who believes she's a real-life anime character, who has kidnapped her cat and is threatening to do awful things to it unless she comes to him. Yan-Chan pulls a sneaky stealth mission to retrieve the cat, and – at least in this case – resists the urge to drug Osana's tea and instead just politely asks for Osana to stay away. Of course, this being a demo, this doesn't stop her and Senpai's other conversations, so we also to got to see another couple of "ruining Osana's chances at a successful love confession" events (ruining a book Senpai lent her, and putting creepy pictures on her phone). And then there was the ending cutscene, which showed how Senpai meets the next rival (leader of the cooking club Amai) and how Yan-Chan learns about it (not by her own stalking, but via INFO-CHAN'S stalking. Seems like she has something against Amai? Or really likes watching people suffer). It's interesting, even if the game is still glitchy and unfinished.

3. Third video focuses on the "expulsion" method, which is essentially "frame Osana for various crimes, report her to the guidance counselor, let counselor do your dirty work." Turns out Osana's reaction to a broken vending machine is to KICK THE DAMN THING LIKE SHE'S TRYING TO TAKE ITS HEAD OFF. XD There were also a couple of murders, just for good measure – setting Osana on fire via gas trap and candle (after getting Raibaru to go away for a little bit because otherwise she smells the gas), and poisoning her bento so she dies RIGHT IN FRONT OF SENPAI. He – doesn't take it well. (While Raibaru, eating lunch nearby, doesn't even react, damn girl.) Nice little detail from the ending is that, while it's not properly animated, Senpai's dialogue in the cutscene will change depending on how you eliminated Osana. There's also a special secret cutscene with the headmaster talking to Mr. Saikou, who apparently considers the other students "acceptable losses" in whatever scheme he's pulling, sheesh. Dark game is gonna be SUPER dark, huh?

4. And the fourth video, released just the other day, focuses on kidnapping (you can't kidnap Raibaru, it appears, and he had a little trouble with actually kidnapping Osana, but he managed it in the end), mind-slaves (featuring the return of Kokona! As, uh, the mind-slave who attacks Raibaru – she can't kill her, but Yan-Chan poking her with a bat while she's distracted can XD), and setting Osana up with another student (a red-head who is willing to pierce his lower lip and get glasses and a fake tan to impress Osana, as apparently that's her type). All sorts of fun evil stuff in this game! XD

B) And then, because I saw it in my Recommendeds, a quick video showing a cutscene from a mod where, apparently, you can destroy Raibaru's reputation, and then she'll end her friendship with Osana so she doesn't become a target of bullies or anything. It's actually quite well done and sad, really.

C) And then over to Gray Still Plays for another little marathon of doom!

1. City SmashSolar Smash's little brother, which puts you in the middle of a city and gives you a variety of ways to destroy said city. Want a giant death laser? You got it. Alien attack? Right here. Controllable meteorite strike? That'll level the place. RENT-A-CTHULHU AND RENT-A-GODZILLA? Yup, got 'em both. Gray was very, very happy to try these all out. XD

2. Death Incoming! – a mobile game all about finding ways to murder people! As you might imagine, Gray liked this one a lot as well. XD A lot of the deaths were surprisingly gory too – ever wanted to see a woman's head impaled by a knife attached to a balloon? This game shalt provide! As Gray puts it, it's cutesy cartoony mobile Final Destination. XD

3. More Happy Wheels! Featuring more bottle runs, more harpoon runs, a reverse spike fall (so basically a spike JUMP), and young Tom Hardy needing to get to his mother before he tumbles into the abyss. Basically, lots of stupid, cartoony gore and horror – just what Gray likes!

-->Played some Fallout 4 -- EVENTUALLY. Steam took freaking AGES to update and open, and Vortex was crawling too when I first opened it up. I ended up closing them and rebooting the computer to get them to open normally. It seems this laptop no longer likes any of my game launchers anymore. *grumbles* Though, admittedly, part of me wonders if the problem is at least partly the iffy internet connection. . .either way, it's getting frustrating.

The game did play in the end, though -- but the mod I installed today, something that's supposed to clean up the ghouls at Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, hasn't kicked in yet. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take before the corpses despawn, unfortunately, but I'm hoping it's not too long! I have having the stupid things just lying around my settlement. I also recruited another wandering Settler of the Commonwealth (after I found him fighting a Super Mutant nearby), fought a bunch of the Mechanist's robots (damn it, I was trying to set up a proper farm here!), got the food situation sorted out a little better, then headed over to the ruins of CIT to find the network cards for the "You've Got Mail" quest. Got off a lot of satisfying stealth kills on raiders! I'm getting actually pretty good with a sniper rifle. :)

-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- Victor has been congratulated on the birth of his son, and is now being allowed in to see him, yay. :) Time for some tender "new parents" moments. :)

-->Another 5 rounds of beanbag game today -- I won the first game, then Mom and Dad each won two of the remaining. But I actually managed to come in second in all those games, so that's not too shabby. We've all gotten really good at this game! Yeah, we still have bad rounds, but it's pretty much a lot easier to get those bags on the board, or in the holes. And it's nice to have a simple game we can do outside while the weather is still nice.

And now it's time to do the Valice Multiverse queue, answer comments on here, and find some other ways to muck around until it's time for bed. Gonna be trying to get to bed at least a LITTLE earlier than 2 AM tonight to try and make the transition back to "work hours" a little easier tomorrow evening. Tomorrow -- BTTF, more beanbag, "Londerland Bloodlines," and Call Me Kevin. Oh, and Sims 4, hopefully. Maybe if I wake up a little earlier, I can game a little earlier too, and maybe avoid some of the issues I've been having with the launchers. . . We'll see. *shrug* Night all!
