Rushed Monday
Mostly because I was doing my best to help Mom get the gifts I'm giving to my coworkers tomorrow ready. She's been really nice about this, making the little packs holding all the stuff (we're doing winter survival kits with mini-tissues and chapstick and the like), and baking cookies besides. She and Dad have told me not to get them anything for gifts, but I'm going to feel guilty as fuck if I don't do SOMETHING after all this. Maybe I can find a nice card during a quiet moment. . .
Anyway -- that ate up a large part of my evening, and DragonVale got a good chunk too -- not only have they abruptly added extra stuff to find in your visitors (Sandakloz is apparently dropping presents all over the place), they have had the AUDACITY to announce that two of the Ornamental dragons are on LAST CALL. I thought this was supposed to be Bring Em Back -- you know, when EVERY DRAGON WAS AVAILABLE? Where the FUCK do you get off deciding to limit how long FESTIVAL PRIZES are available, Backflip? A staggered release I was fine with, but to suddenly just CUT PEOPLE OFF? Including me, because I'm pretty certain I'm only going to be able to afford ONE of the dragons on the chopping block. . . The one nice thing they did today was via their "advent calendar" -- the prize today was the Feast Dragon, which means one less dragon I have to breed. And I MIGHT be getting the Delirium thanks to coop breeding -- fingers crossed!
All right, I managed to finish tumblr queues despite everything, and I only have two messages on Dw to answer, which I have drafted already -- let me slap those up and go to bed. And hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to actually WRITE.

And I know, right?! I actually will have enough for both before they leave (I need 685 more) but I'm nervous about getting all the new dragons now. I had to sacrifice gems to get the Holly. Not a lot - I still have over 2000 - but still.

They me another 80 iceberries with today's Mystery Giftery gift (along with something else I don't even remember now), so I'll have JUUUUST enough to get both dragons (I got the Ornamental this morning since it was the cheaper of the two). But yeah, I hear you on that. I've been sacrificing gems all over the place to speed up various eggs in an attempt to get what I want. Hovering around the 1,350 mark.
