They came straight from work. Luckily they both got their promotions today -- Clara made Tenured Professor and comes home at five, Doc made scholar and comes home at three with the kids. Two more friends needed!

With the sole exception of Linda, and that's because she hasn't been moved in yet. Nice way to celebrate Doc and Clara's first kiss, huh? And in my fanfiction, the date Hill Valley was officially founded, no less.
