crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Doc's so cute)
September 1st -- Doc wrote and sent off his letter to Marty from 1885.
September 2nd -- Marty arrived in 1885, ripped the DeLorean fuel line, was chased by a bear, crashed into the McFly farm fence, and shared dinner with his ancestors Maggie and Seamus. And William, who peed on him. :)
-M: *rolls eyes*-
September 3rd -- Marty heads into Hill Valley proper, meets and upsets Buford Tannen and is nearly hung-
-VD2: *growl*-
-is saved by a utterly handsome Doc. Doc learns who "beloved Clara" is and decides not to pick her up. He and Marty discuss the DeLorean's no fuel situation and truck it back to town with horses.
September 4th -- Doc and Marty try running the DeLorean on alcohol, which blows out the fuel-injection manifold. They come up with the idea to push it with a train. Doc saves Clara from falling to her death and turns Clayton Ravine into Shonash Ravine.
September 5th -- Clara flirts with Doc by pretending her telescope is broken.
-D: Pretending? She said that a lens was out of alignment. That if you turned it one way -- ooh.-
Hehehehe, her telescope worked fine. Anyway, Doc, Marty, Clara, and Buford all attend the Town Festival. Doc and Marty take their picture with the brand-new clock. Doc proves he can dance to Marty and has a fun time with Clara. Buford attempts to shoot Doc and manhandles Clara, but is stopped by Marty. Provoked by being called "yellow," Marty agrees to settle things with Buford on Monday, expecting to be back in the future by then. Doc and Clara head out for a romantic night studying the stars.
September 6th -- Doc decides he wants to stay in the past with Clara. Marty convinces him he needs to come back to the future with him, but Doc can't resist saying goodbye and telling Clara the truth. Clara doesn't believe him and slaps him. Broken-hearted, Doc ends up at the local saloon and starts talking about the future.
September 7th -- Marty finds Doc missing and locates him at the bar. Doc gets fall-down-dead drunk from one shot. Clara decides to leave Hill Valley on the train. Buford shows up and challenges "Eastwood" to their confrontation. Marty refuses, valuing his life over his pride, and he and Doc try to make their escape. Buford catches Doc, and Marty faces the gunman down. He tricks him with a stove-door "bulletproof vest" and punches him out. He and Doc rush to hi -- borrow the train. On said train, Clara overhears the barbed-wire salesman talking about Doc and decides she really cares for him. She runs back to town, finds the model, realizes he was telling the truth, and goes after him and Marty. Doc and Marty successfully grab the train and use it to push the DeLorean. Clara catches up and keeps Doc from getting into the DeLorean. They both get trapped and nearly die, but Marty is able to slip Doc the hoverboard in time, allowing him to rescue Clara. Marty heads home to the future.

Whew! That was a lot to type out.
-VD: *reading* You know, our Part III version fell in love with Clara quite quickly. They knew each other for three days.-
Yeah, it's funny how the movies distort time. All part of the pleasures of owning a time machine. It doesn't feel like Part III takes place over a mere week, does it?
Heck, from the 1985 perspective, the entire trilogy takes place over one week-end.

So, Happy "Doc Saved Clara" Day. *vomits quietly* I myself have to save the laundry.

I figured, he saved her life today, they should celebrate. Once they both got home from work, I had Doc ask Clara out on a date. They went to the Palace Saloon, roasted some marshmallows, bought a grape sprig, stargazed, chatted with friends, and had supper. Doc cast Smiley Face and Relationship Boost on George, so now they have the essential five friends and can get promotions as long as they're in a good mood.
-D: Finally! I don't like our children being latchkey kids.-
They get along fine, don't worry. And they've both being getting 100s for A+ grades.

I did some web looking for spooky house designs, and I found a few I like and might want to do my own version of. I'm thinking of creating a special character to make the house for the SimGod Browns. James Magibud, after the fake MagiCoins cheat. Supposedly if you typed in magibud, you could get MagiCoins like you would get simoleons for rosebud. James would have his mechanical, logic, and creativity maxed so he could get tons of MagiCoins, be rosebudded to buy the lot, then I'd design the house. I'm thinking of a castle design right now. I may still try out the Gothic cathedral, though.
-M: As long as the place is liveable.-
Trust me, that's top priority. I've never really liked Brown Mansion in StrictlyBTTF because it's so big. I'm not a big one for two-floor houses. That's the nice thing about the cathedral -- only two upstairs rooms. Everything else will be downstairs.
-M: Cool.-

Starting to type up "Reality Check," the new version of "Double Double." I figured that since I'm almost done with "Judgement Day," I could start on this. I also want to start writing "Deadly December," with its new plotline.
-D: Glad to hear you're doing all right story-wise.-
Me too. The beginning of this is plodding a little, but maybe it's just me and being tired. I can also always go back and edit it.
-J: Hey, can I ask you why you changed the title?-
It just came to me one night. It feels more right than "Double Double." More inspired. (I have the sneaking suspicion it's the name of another BTTF Fanfic as well.) "Double Trouble" is staying as-is, though.
-J: Okay. Just wondering.-
Fine with me. I've gotten titles for almost all of my stories now. The lone holdout is the one with Holly and Gypsy about Doc and Marty's link. *grumble* I wish that one would get a title.
Well, off to look at Necon -- apparently I'm getting some praise for my second 50-word short. :) Catch ya'll later.
