RP-y Day

Mostly for [livejournal.com profile] museicalmarty -- Someone discovered the Animated Series, and wasn't too happy about his portrayal.
-M: Can't blame the guy.-
Me either. I was planning on doing this before, but the problems with my computer made me forget about it. Ael wanting to mess around with her Bizarro muse prompted me to get it up. Lots of creepy in that thread. :p
Other major thing of interest is my latest tumblr post: In which I try to weave the new info from A:MR into the original opening of AMA I think I did a good job -- hopefully, anyway.
All right, time to tackle another tag or two.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP?" LOL! Yeah, that about sums it up. If anything, the series is worth hanging onto for a prime example of what not to do when converting a blockbuster trilogy to a Saturday morning cartoon.

It really stings, though, when you realize how many of the original people had something to do with the cartoon series and that couldn't even justify doing a better job. And the longer it ran, the more inane it became. It even broke its own rules! It was like bad fanfic for television! Of course, I didn't give a shit, gulp, twenty years ago, because it had Back To The Future plastered all over it. LOL!

*snicker* Yeah, pretty much. I just -- they could have done so much better.

I know! I hadn't realized before just how closely the Bobs themselves were involved in this! You think THEY of all people would know Doc and Marty! I don't know, I really don't. I pretend it's like Roger Rabbit and the toons are just as disgusted as we are, and that makes it better. :p
