Yes, It's More EVL
What can I say, I like EVL and his family. And it's not a particularly long update, so there's that for you guys:
Thursday

We open on a scene of EVL being a good husband and giving his heavily-pregnant wife a backrub. He had a want for it, so why not indulge him? (Even if technically I need never indulge any of his wants again -- permaplat and maxed out in Lifetime Aspiration.)

He also makes faces at Felicia's belly, because I find it amusing. Next update we'll meet little Nell or William!

In the meantime, EVL shares breakfast with his little girl before she heads off to school.

Orange harvest! We got 9 Mouthwatering Oranges.

EVL then spent some time talking to the freshly-harvested tree to give it a boost. Hey, the more plants I can get Thriving. . .

Felicia, meanwhile, is spending her pregnancy making spell reagents, just in case.

At the store, things continue to go well. It helps that now EVL can cast Tempus Interruptus and restock without losing a moment of valuable sales time.

EVL: *dazzles*
Customer: *is dazzled*
It's too cute.

He sells out of merchandise fast -- I really do need to make the store a little bigger. Either that or get over my antipathy toward making robots on-site so I can restock faster.

Dude, get out of the way, you're blocking the register with that jump rope.

WHAT IS WITH ALL THE JUMP-ROPING MY GOD

Back at home, away from the jump rope fanatics, EVL spends some time talking to a plant he accidentally overwatered, hoping to mitigate the damage. Works out pretty well -- he talks it up to Thriving.
Now, about this time I got a chance card for Tom, which a choice of acquiring more newspapers and TV stations or focusing more closely on fewer ones. I picked the "focus on fewer" option, which turned out to be right. I thought Tom would get a nice bonus of 4,800.
And then I saw the family funds shoot up to over 101,000 simoleons.
I misread it -- it was a bonus of 48,000.

Hello new additions to the house! I added that pool I wanted, along with a barbeque outside. I also replaced the couch with a better model. Woot! And now I DEFINITELY have the funds to expand Little N' Local Robots!

Felicia celebrates this turn of events by hooking herself a jumbo largemouth bass.

Lorina comes home from school, and her dad takes her for a spin. And she doesn't throw up this time!

She also says hello to her little brother or sister -- how cute.

As Tom arrives home, I suddenly remember about the toy bench (remember, last time, I told you all he came with a Bronze Toy-Making badge), so I snag one and put him to work.

And so we end on a montage of Lorina playing with her new toys. Fun times!
Yes, I'm a Sims addict, so what?
In other news, the parents have gone on a little vacation to Block Island. The weather has reacted to this development by being stubbornly cloudy, rainy, and foggy. >.< God damn it. I was kind of hoping to enjoy some nice weather while I was home alone. And of course Mom's at Block Island to hit the beach. . . *sigh* Keep your fingers crossed it gets better tomorrow.
And now, I am starving and will have dinner.
