TUMBLR RAGE

A rather important part of the site -- the corner menu that lets you like & reblog posts, follow/unfollow people, and go to your dashboard -- has disappeared, and has been gone for most of the day. This means a lot of my RP has ground to a halt, since I don't automatically follow everyone who follows me (my dash would rapidly become too unreadable, and I'd never know what anyone was doing anymore -- and a temporary follow means wading through however much additional crap in order to find the one post I'm supposed to be reblogging), and not everyone's themes has some sort of alternate way to reblog. I e-mailed support, and apparently they're working on a fix, but I'm feeling annoyed enough that I'm completely out of the RP mood.

Not my most productive day overall, honestly. I did get some writing done, but it wasn't on Chapter 12. Rather, I've been in such a "designing more magic for FV" mood, I decided to play with that and wrote something that'll be useful when I get to "Remembering You" and "Fixing You" -- a snippet on Dr. Fixxler. He's a character I'm taking from the art book -- Victor and Alice's mentor and guide to the world of magic. He's a pretty cool guy -- a mysterious smooth-talker who sells genuinely-magical items under a guise of "amazing mystery cures." He's also originally from the American South, and he's black. I admit to getting inspiration from Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, though Fixxler is most definitely a good guy. Basically I wrote up Victor and Alice going to see him, and a description of what his shop looks like based on the sketches in the art book. I also did get another spell into the list, and I've got plans for another -- though I can't yet decide whether a spell for casting illusions on other things should be before or after "False Flesh," casting an illusion on yourself. Should it be easier or harder to disguise other things? Hmmm.

Anyway -- I think what really set me off was getting another internet glitch the moment I sent off my answer to the support e-mail from tumblr. Router decided it didn't like sending me wireless. Quick reset fixed it, but -- grrr. (I think I'm PMSing too, which doesn't help.)

All right. I'm off to poke at Avengers tropes -- Dad and I have been watching the movie in chunks whenever we have supper alone, and it's actually pretty good -- and look up table codes so I can put up my new RP schedule idea in a nice pretty format. To go with the table of muses, of course. Yes, I'm weird, what of it. :P

Does he have Friends On the Other Side? :p
