Cold Of Nastiness

AKA why I didn't update the other day -- I'm sick, and it really really sucks. Yesterday was the worst -- I got up, tried to get on, and quickly realized my body did not want me to be upright in any capacity. So I ended up spending the day downstairs on the couch under a blanket with Victor Plush and Alice Dolly, watching my Brave Blu-Ray special features (which were pretty entertaining) and reviews by the Lazy Game Reviewer, whom I've decided I quite like. He's snarky, likes the Alice games, likes the Sims games (I quite like his reviews of the various Sims 3 expansion packs and suchlike), does a lot of interesting old-school DOS stuff, apparently likes Back To The Future (he made a Marty McFly Sim to test out the Facebook Sims Social game), and is generally an entertaining person. So I'm going to go and watch more of his stuff. Because while I'm rather clearer-headed, I'm still heavily congested, and I don't think writing a lot is good for me right now. I'm still very much in "blaaaaah" mode. (Though I should probably check into [personal profile] mallowmods briefly, because I never got a chance to yesterday.)

LOL, actually I've gotten lots of chicken -- and tonight, chili dogs with watermelon. On the other hand, watermelon's supposed to be good for the vitamin C, so. . .

Yup -- like I said, being upright on Saturday was explicitly NOT in the game plan. :( I might be able to get to them later, but right now I'm feeling not-quite-with-it -- which is funny, because I felt rather clearer-headed this morning. Dayquil, are you not doing what you're advertised to do?
