crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)

Watching some guy's videos about how he's making his Level 28 park look nice has inspired me to improve the look of my own DragonVale park. Here's the updated version as it stands so far:

Dragon Vale Park 10
Island One, which I've rearranged to provide more space for more habitats in the future. I've also made a solid group of treat farms, and added a plant boost -- that's the gnarled tree building over there. :P Hey, it was a goal, gave me a reward, so why not? Doc and Dino are breeding in the corner -- which has taken AN ENTIRE DAY. Apparently I'm getting a Crystal dragon from this, which will net me some nice cash and experience but will also take another day to hatch. *grumble*

Dragon Vale Park 11
Island Two, which has been similarly redesigned a bit. I've been dithering over removing a couple of the remaining big rocks, since they're kind of in the way, but also way expensive. . . I'll figure it out. I did get some new decorations for this lot, though -- that building over there by the Colosseum is a restaurant. I figured hungry spectators could go there for turkey legs. XD And there's a swimming hole in the back.

Dragon Vale Park 12
The third island, which is the Gemstone Island! I had the cash, so I figured I'd get it. If I somehow manage to breed any gemstone dragons, I'll need it. They live on there and give you gems! What more could one ask for?

As for dragons, I added Mountain dragon Everest and Ash dragon Victor to my park today. I'd originally planned to save the name Victor for my first Butterfly dragon, but -- damn it, there was something about the color scheme and the little guy's cute little face that made me decide he just LOOKED like a Victor. :D I'll probably name the Butterfly dragon Alice instead. I also just threw Solder into the Colosseum as a late entry into today's Lightning Event -- I wanted to minimize the time that habitat spent earning no money, and as you have until midnight. . . *shrug* I've also made a list of the dragons I want to get and the elements necessary to their creation, so I'll be working on those as the days go on. Yes, I still want that damn Pepper. The reward is only one gem, but at this point it's become a point of honor. And besides, any gem is a good gem.

That did unfortunately take up the bulk of my day -- what can I say, I find this game very amusing. And unfortunately, a post about touchscreens responding to your tongue on tumblr has gotten me a new way to waste time!

. . .No, it's not licking my iPad Mini screen, that's gross. No, in the post there was a mention of someone putting in their tags "playing Fruit Ninja with my tongue." My immediate response was "WTFBBQ THAT'S A APP?!" And it is! Complete with a free version you can mess around with! :D Fruit Ninja is one of my favorite games whenever I visit D & B, so it's really great to have a version I can play whenever I want. There's even different modes I can mess around with! I've already completed a few challenges, so I'm feeling good. :D

For now, though, tumblr tags await, so later!
