Other news of the day -- Played a little Restful Springs in Sims. Another dull day at the asylum, which I've really got to figure out a way to fix. Blah. I also went ahead and got

forgotten_vows a paid, since he's getting the most use out of everybody here, so off I go to hunt for good Victor icons!

Like today was supposed to be Wednesday. *shrug* Maybe it is time for me to head back to school just to get my schedule back to being straight.

Anyway, not much to report today. I DID finally write an ending to Chapter 10 of "Secundus," so hopefully you'll see that soon. Also more Winter Bingo prompts in the offing.

I'm sorry, it's just where my brain is these days. I would like to finish off the Drabble 88s this year if I can. Hmmm, maybe if I try doing a prompt for each episode of the Telltale game. . . .

Indeedy! I also did a prompt fill for the Five Acts Meme I joined -- I found someone with "How To Train Your Dragon" on their fandom list and gave it a whirl. I have no idea how good it is, but I wanted to write something for SOMEBODY. . . .
I also just spent the past hour and change listening to, then ripping, the first CD of my Deluxe Opheliac CD set. I really do like Emilie Autumn's stuff. :) And the outtake clip you get as a bonus track has just cemented her in my mind as Lucy.
Sooo, that's my day, really. Tomorrow will probably be even more boring, as we're predicted to get a bunch of snow dumped on us. Gotta love it. *rolls eyes*

The Twin Oaks Park Van Dorts get a rather slapdash entry in

revison_doc's LJ. It was a bit of a frustration run playing them, since I was desperate to get that smart milk! But hey, at least Lorina has all her necessary toddler skills now.

There's a party at the Inkwell, and this one is WAY more exciting that the BTTF 25th's ice cream social. You'll definitely want to read what's happened. (And if anyone wants to go visit, go ahead.)

Tie-Twister makes a brief mention in the muse journal of the date's significance. He's kind of busy, so I think you can forgive him.

Victor Plush also mentions the date. Hey, it's technically an anniversary for him too.

I can't say much more, since my brain's a little burnt out. Had a rough start to the day, though it got a lot better in the afternoon. Especially since it appears that we are indeed getting a new BTTF videogame! TellTale Games have the license! I for one am quite hopeful -- apparently these guys did a Wallace and Gromit episodic game, so they have a good background as far as I'm concerned.

As for birthday celebrations, the Inkwell party is going strong, the muses have their usual birthday wishes up, and Victor Plush twittered on his small celebration. And yes, I got myself a chocolate Birthday Cake Friend-z in honor of the occasion. (After the way the day started, I felt I deserved it.) I also watched both "Back To The Future Night" and the featurettes on Corpse Bride while I walked on the treadmill, so that's set.

. . . I should post some fanfic or something too. Well, I do have some more sentences -- I did two sets from one of the spinoff communities of

(I'd put Discworld on the list, but I'm still a little leery of character voices, since I still have so many books to go.)

Naturally, I had to take a look around. I've answered this prompt: "The progress of rivers to the ocean is not so rapid as that of man to error" -Voltaire with a short BTTF story (Doc blows something up again XD), and left my own prompt here. Not that I really expect an answer to mine, but a girl can hope, right?

Though it's not quite a happy one over here -- my Mom's sick with something nasty, and I'm worried it's just a matter of time before we all get it. :(

Still, I've made it through today -- Victor and Alice had an Inkwell post, setting up a future visit by the Liddells to the bar. And I have not-quite-fic for you all. I don't know if any of you remember me doing the themes from the

1sentence community, but regardless, I've gotten two sets done: one for Doc/Clara, one for Victor/Alice. Since it's Valentine's, I figure I might as well show them to you. None of them are in any sort of chronological order, though you're welcome to guess what comes when, if you like. ;) It's all pretty obvious.

We have a new couch. My parents got rid of our old settee/loveseat and got this huge new couch. It's nice, though I'm still getting used to it. The cushions are really -- squishy. I'm constantly feeling like I'm going to sink down and get stuck in the couch or something.

-D: I think it's more of a case that she's lived with that old loveseat all her life, and that was never what you could consider "soft."-
I actually think it might be a little of both. I'm starting to wonder if I just don't like "soft" all that much. I really have no idea -- give me a few days to get used to it.
In other news, not much happening -- watched The Mask over lunch (with Plushie Victor XD), continued to read that screencap Alice playthrough (am I the only one who thinks the croquet mallet is awesome?), and I'm continuing a video playthrough by someone who claims to be playing blind. On Nightmare, no less.
-VM: . . . Who plays a game for the first time on the hardest difficulty?!-
I don't know. Yo, those of you who actually play lots of videogames (as opposed to me and my defunct Sims 2/Alice playing), what difficulty do you usually start off on on a brand new game?
I did update the Inkwell with a "random trivia" post -- if you've ever wondered why I chose the journal names I did for my characters, look here. I do have plans for an actual post or two in the near future -- Alice may be bringing her aunt and uncle over to meet Victor. ;)

Yeah. Lessee, that's ten icons, since the Bone Boys would go together. Which leaves room for others to visit. Maybe I should do a spot for Simon's brother and his girlfriend (the teens from "Geeks In Love.") If I do the journal, that is. Not sure where I'd find icons for Charles and Susan.

I've never really described them all that much -- Charles is black-haired, with a stern face, while Susan is blond, with her hair done up with what I believe is known as "sausage curls."

I chose Victor/Alice, natch -- to make it a bit easier on myself, I used the playlist I made for them on Windows Media Player. Let me tell you, it's hard to write any sort of coherent narrative in some of the time frames you're given! So yeah, what's coming up is not exactly my best work.
