Remember how I said that it was gonna take me forever to breed the Solar Eclipse? Yeah, forget that. Boone and Dusty gave me the 48-hour message this morning, lol.
I also got the second Ovalith Dragon who came with the lovely name Shyne. I put her by Raths on the right side of the Gemstone Island because I thought he could use some company. Well, the Lapis could, too, but he hasn't been by himself as long as Raths has, lol. I'll put the Emerald with him next month. Incendentally, you don't get anything if you try to sell the Ovalith Dragons. I was just curious; I didn't go through with it of course. More gems is a good thing, heh.
When I was eeking closer to the second Ovalith, I slowly collected the eggs. As soon as the button started to shine (*snerks to self*), then I turned them in. So now I'm gonna hoard those eggs like a dragon hoards gems (pun intended...) and let them accumulate and see how many I get by the time the event ends. I have 18 so far (8 from the leftover treat gathering and 10 from the clearing).
Since the Arbor (an Arbor Dragon for Arbor Day...clever...) is Plant/Earth I bought another Large Plant Habitat for my Plant/Water Island so it'll have a positive boost. I think I'm right in not decorating this Island to its final form yet because I need to see if there will be any other dragons in the future that can benefit from being there. I know the Bouquet will need a spot for sure.
In a year or two when all is said and done and I've gotten every dragon and upgrade in the game (minus those you have to spend real money for, of course), then maybe I'll get the Giant Habitats and re-redecorate. I won't need to save gems then, lol.
I've currently maxed out my Habitats at 41 but I'm almost level 32 so I'm not too worried. I'm just gonna profit breed anyway until they release something else we have to try for. The hybrids will always be there to breed when I'm ready, heh.
Dusty won a Silver and I threw Monty into Cold.
I'll be back in two hours when the Arbor hatches to let you know the name. Edit: It's Crusty! LOL!! So keeping that name, haha!!!
