Happy Birthday To Meeee

crossover_chickIt's been a good one, if very, very lazy. I went ahead and allowed myself to waste bunches of time on TV Tropes. XD Hey, it's my birthday, I'm allowed. :P I also got some presents:
-->In addition to the books I opened yesterday, my card from my aunt contained $20, w00
-->Mom and Dad got me some nice cards too -- Mom a sentimental one, Dad -- well, it's about unicorns farting rainbows XD
-->My friend Taco did a great picture of Forgotten Vows in winter wear as a combined Christmas/birthday thing
-->My friend DarkCountess did a two-page comic about the end of Chapter 6 of "Losing You," ripping my goddamn heart out in the process
-->My friend Rose did a cute photoset about Victor and Alice, complete with very appropriate quote
-->I got a Century dragon egg! . . .Okay, Backflip could hardly know it was my birthday, but it's nice to knock another dragon off my "needed" list. I also got the first Snowflake in the early-morning hours. The darn thing's description is full of references to Frozen, but I'd already used up most of the names of the main characters for other dragons. So I looked up the original Snow Queen fairytale and named her Gerda. My second will be Kai, and I should have Kristoph ready for a third. Fourth -- Hans, maybe? Yeah, villain of the movie, but also the name of the original author of the fairytale, sooo. . .
There was also delicious cheesecake for dessert -- Mom and Dad got a sampler set, so I got a mini slice of turtle and a mini slice of chocolate. Om nom nom. So a very low-key birthday, but a nice one. :)
Oh! And I also played some Alice: Madness Returns after I had my cheesecake. Decided to go ahead and see if the game can handle Physx on Medium -- it caaaaan. :D Whenever I slaughtered Madcaps, we'd have broken bits of crockery all over the place. Pepper floods out of the Pepper Grinder, and the feathers that appear when Alice jumps and floats form a (brief, they fade away fairly quickly) trail behind her. I was actually having her jump more just to watch! :D I love Lenny. Best present to date.
Okay, gonna wrap up this birthday with some writing, and some YouTube videos. G'night all!
