crossover_chick: a vampire version of Alice Liddell and a human Victor Van Dort kissing (SIMS: Vamp!Alice and Victor Smooches)

Both because I finally have those other house pictures I promised you, and I spent today's Sims 4 session working on Victor and Alice's house in Willow Creek. Spoilers: I have still not actually done anything with them in Live Mode. XD Figuring out their house (specifically, trying to convince myself I should not used Styled Rooms for everything and failing miserably) and then making adjustments and adding extra decoration took longer than I thought, and I really wanted to get some time on the elliptical, sooo. . .

Anyway, here's some houses, made mostly out of Styled Rooms because I am laaaazy:

Night House A
This is the bigger of the two houses I built. I can't remember the name of the lot -- nor which neighborhood it's in, actually; the green grass makes me want to say Willow Creek but I'm pretty sure the other one is Potter's Splay and I know THAT'S in Willow Creek which means this one would have to be in Oasis Springs -- so I'm calling it the Night House since all my pictures of it are at night. Anyway, this is meant as a luxury couple house -- one bedroom, two bathrooms, big kitchen & dining rooms, good-sized living room, outdoor pool, upstairs deck, all sorts of fun stuff.

Night House B
Another angle so you can take in the magnificence of the outside.

Night House C
First floor! And I recognize that mailbox design from Geeker's house, must be Oasis Springs. Anyway, we have our entrance hall, with stairs to the upper level; living room, kitchen, dining room, and downstairs bath. I tried to make the color schemes available with each room coordinate, and I tweaked things as I went along -- pretty sure that living room is wider than it came before. The entrance hall is actually of my own design, since I needed a place to put the stairs. I threw in some entrance-related clutter to make it look lived in.

Second floor! Consisting mainly of a hallway that also doubles as a reading area, the bedroom and upstairs bath, and a upstairs deck I made on a whim that has a card table and a barbeque. You can also get another good look at the three gardening boxes on the side of the house.

Night House E
Another shot taken from way in the back for some reason. *shrug* Shows off some of the trees I threw around for color, and a bit of the pool, which has turtle decals and a special outdoor table and chairs. If there was a diving board or slide available, you can be sure I would have added it.

Day House A
And here's the first house I made in the Sims 4, which should be in the Potter's Splay lot in Willow Creek! It's meant as a starter home for a single Sim, more or less, and was me mainly playing around with what I could do with the game. I managed to take pictures in daylight this time, so this is the Day House. It's pretty simple, though I did include a fancy fountain (that's what that square of water is in front, not a pool -- and the reason we all know they were LYING when they said they couldn't do pools at first, because THAT IS A POOL IN EVERYTHING BUT SWIMMING ANIMATIONS)

Day House B
Since this is a single-story starter home, you only get one picture of the inside, and dear lord I did not do ANYTHING to adjust that damn living room properly once I stretched it out. ^^; Like I said, first house, just playing around with the game. This is pretty much all the cheapest styled rooms stuck together to make a half-decent place to live. I added in some goodies, like the easel, the chess board, the bonsai, and a few decorations. Also made the kitchen into a kitchen/dining room because that's easy and cheap for a just-starting-out Sim.

Valice House A
And here's Victor and Alice's new house, the Bargain Bend in Willow Creek! Only interior pictures this time -- I'll try to remember to get an exterior pic when I play next, though I'm pretty sure I used the same siding as I did for Day House. And I used the same Styled living room as I did for the Night House, huh. Anyway, their home ended up a mainly blue-tinted box. My main concerns were getting enough room for a piano for Victor and an easel for Alice, so they can actually fulfill their aspirations.

Valice House B
Other side of their boxy Bargain -- these are all tweaked Styled rooms, though the little study/art area didn't start out as such. That was actually a miniature dining room that I ended up deleting the table and chair out of in favor of the combined kitchen/dining area. I threw Alice's easel in the spare space provided, then decided I might as well make it a proper study with a bookshelf and a place to sit. Victor and Alice are just roomies at the moment, hence why the bedroom has two separate singles instead of a double bed. Also, please note my loving bathroom decorations, as I kind of love all the included bathroom clutter. :) All of my Sim bathrooms now must have the toilet roll decoration. It just makes everything so much better. XD

Geeker Vs The Sink
Oh, if you're wondering about Geeker, he's doing all right -- still good friends with Lesile, slowly moving up on his career path, things like that. He's suffered a few breakages of things, though. I simply replaced his stereo when that broke, not wanting to risk electrocution, but figured he could take on the sink. He has upgrade parts now banging around in his inventory, so once he improves his repair skill a little, I can maybe upgrade some of his shit. (Yeah, that's a thing now! It seems cool.)

Not much else to say, really -- the vast majority of my day has been taken up with Simming and marathoning Helloween's LP of "The Evil Within." And now I'm going to have dessert, watch another of his videos, then get cracking on RP stuff. Enjoy the pic spam -- later!
