Clean-Up Saturday

Spent my morning post-breakfast doing the vacuuming -- after cleaning out the vacuum, which desperately needed it. Damn thing was choked half to death with dust. . . I think the innards might need a good washing. Need to see about that at some point. At any rate, that's all done with for this week, w000~
Worked on "Remembering You" after that -- rewrote the appearance of Victor's parents at Houndsditch so that they responded directly to the article in the Illustrated and not Dr. Wilson's letter afterward. Nell's much nastier to Alice this time around, largely because she thinks Alice lied about all this just to get attention. (Hypocritical much Nell?) I also managed to get in a bit about not blaming Bumby's crimes on his sexual orientation, because it's annoyed me a little that he kind of falls into the "Depraved Bisexual" trope, and I know that rubbed one reviewer the wrong way too. And unfortunately I can't really show off my "bisexual Victoria" headcanon in this verse. (In some other verses, of course. . .)
Also caught up on some videos -- started out last night with Critic's "Tangled Vs Frozen" vid. Which -- I didn't realize was a thing, because back when Frozen was all over tumblr, most people were crossing it over with Tangled thanks to Rapunzel and Eugene's cameo in the movie. (Watch when the people are arriving at the dock, and you'll see brunette Rapunzel looking around with Eugene.) Hell, somebody even threw in The Little Mermaid with noting how Anna and Elsa's lost parents' ship looked similar to the wreck Ariel explores. Had no idea people had progressed to "dueling movies." *shrug*
Anyway, today I started with the "Four" prologue DLC from Drakenguard 3 with Helloween. Four -- is a prissy, insecure, stuck-up, nasty little bitch, let me tell you. But it featured one of my favorite characters, Decadus, being his usual masochistically-pervy self, so that was good. XD And Gabriella, One's dragon, is great too. I wish she'd been in the main game. Ah well, at least we get to see her snark her tail off here. I also watched Linkara's review of the next "The Star Wars" comic, which is an adaptation of Lucas's original script for the first movie, "A New Hope." It remains very weird and not particularly great, though there was some good action in this one. And lots of ridiculous clothing. If you thought Padme's queen outfits in the prequels were bad, you should check out what they stuck Leia in in this comic. XD
And I even got in some video game time -- just a few challenge rooms on Portal 2. Did pretty well, I think -- good to know that not having played the game in a while hasn't completely destroyed my instincts for it. I still need to get the darn first game. . .Steam's having a Lunar New Year sale until the 12th, maybe I should see if it's discounted. (Though I'd have to put some money on my card first. . .on the other hand, I need to do that anyway to buy some BTTF comics I'm missing.)
Right now, of course, the name of the game is RP times~ So good night all, sleep tight!
