I chose the Iron Blossom myself. I need to reorganize things because I've gotten some duplicate names that I haven't bothered changing yet.
If you tap the eggs it says outright that you can choose between the Valor, Squall, Stygian, Thunderbolt and Herald.
Actually as of right now, pre-1PM reset, I have enough Rings (62012) to get all the other dragons (not counting the Dawnbringer because I want to breed it) plus the pedestals, but I'm going to wait until the Event is over or close to it so I can just get everything at once. Since it's Last Call I'm going to wind up forcing the Dawnbringer to spawn with gems once things reset so I can use the gem spending to make Rings. Edit: Turns out I didn't have to...it was the very next try. Haha.
