Gloomy Wednesday

crossover_chickAt least weather-wise -- sort of vague sprinkling mixed with dull clouds and a chill in the air. I suppose it's appropriately autumnal, but. . . *sigh* And it's supposed to be like this all week -- to the point where a 5K Wellness Walk we were supposed to have this Friday has been rescheduled for next Thursday. Which is a little weird in timing, but hell, I'll take it. It's sort of a day off work, you get snacks and lunch, and you get to go home early. What more could you ask for?
We also had a discussion of active shooters this afternoon -- nothing like that's happened yet, but given all the horrible things happening around the country, it's something to be aware of. Me and my officemates are already making emergency plans just in case. Might even get a special safety ladder so we can go out the window if necessary. Really horrible to know this is genuinely a thing I've got to worry about. . .
On the plus side, Mom made chicken soup for dinner, which was delicious and perfect for a day like today, and my Doc Brown-playing friend on tumblr introduced me to hilarious madness: Real-Time Fandub, and their take on BTTF: The Animated Series! Due to time constraints I could only watch the first episode they did, "Mac The Black," but I did crack up quite a few times. XD And honestly, some of the puns they came up with for Marty were better than the ones in the actual series. Check it out if you need a laugh. :)
Okay, Butterfly Boy's queue is done, so it's time to finish up replies and head to bed. Night all, we'll see how tomorrow goes!
