Never-Ending Cycle of Paperwork

crossover_chickAnother evening spent mostly looking at documents and e-signing them for the bank. Loan application, acknowledgements of things, lists of people we could talk to if we were getting confused, fees and costs, and a paper I had to print out saying I wasn't an arsonist. (Yes, really.) And this after a day where I spent most of my breaks getting texts from my mom about how things were going with the lady at the bank and calling up said lady at the bank so I could talk to her about paying for some of this stuff, and -- bleh. Not to mention it was another one of those days where I had to track down a problem on the GL, and untangle maintenance puzzles, and just -- ugh. *faceplants* And tomorrow's the home inspection, so that'll be a new layer of fun! Just -- fingers crossed nothing severe is wrong with it.
I DID manage to get in some writing, though -- in fact, as predicted, I finished "Fixing You!" Ends with Alice about to recount Victor punching Jack Splatter and rushing into the burning Mermaid for the dead orphans of Houndsditch. :P As I have said before, there's plenty that needs tweaking, and some scenes that I already have cooking in my head that will need adding in, but still. Feels good to get a draft done. :)
I also got my queue for Valice Multiverse done, despite everything. And my queue for VictorLuvsAlice -- though I kinda cheated on that one and just made a post about finishing the first draft of "Fixing You." XD But I DO have an idea for Saturday postage, so that's good. And if tomorrow's quiet, I might get a little more done.
Right now, though, I have one final question to answer, then it's bedtime. Friday tomorrow. . .we'll see how it all goes. Night all.
