crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
I had to refriend Marty in Strictly BTTF because of jealousy.
-D: I didn't kiss Jennifer, did I?-
You gave her a compliment.
-M: *baffled* SimMe got mad at SimDoc for that?-
*nodnod* A problem I have with Sims is that Sims get very jealous. It's, of course, cute to see them kissing, and I'm eagerly awaiting "Play in Bed." But if anyone else gives their love a hug or a compliment, and they'll slap them in no time, even if they're best friends!
So, for all you Simmers out there, here's a few tips:
1. Buy expansion packs that get you out of the house. I went off Sims for a long time because I got sick of the routine. If you want to be a serious (i.e., addicted ;)) Simmer, make sure they aren't homebodies.
2. Have your Sims learn how to cook. And if you have a career path in mind for them, set them to work earning the skills they'll need for fast promotions. Until your Sims have at least one cooking point, it is not safe to let them near a stove. It is almost a certainity they will start a fire. The second part should be obvious.
3. If you have two Sims in love, make sure you can spot dangerous interactions in time when you have friends over or are visting friends. Stick with talk if both lovey-dovey Sims are in sight. If one's in another room, maybe you can risk a hug or a compliment. Never at any other time.
4. Also watch your relationships in non-house lots. Especially in Down Town. They fade faster if you're somewhere other than your house. If you spot a friend, try to at least say hi.
