crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
*Doc quickly stops*
-M: Kill someone?-
Randal Stevens. He's an asshole.
-VD: Why is he an asshole?-
While looking for the BTTF drinking game, I stumbled across his Teen Wolf Vs. Back to the Future. He makes some pretty nasty comments about BTTF.
-VD2: *pacifist* Not everybody likes the movie.-
Comparison between Marty McFly and Scott Howard, in points deducted:
Marty has a few deductions, like having a sixty-year-old pedophile (assumed) as a best friend. Scott loses points for celebrating during the big game, when he jumped on the back of his power forward, thereby letting an uncontested lay up go by.
-VD2: WHERE IS THE SCUMBAG?!-
*everyone has to hold an enraged VampDoc2*
Oooh, it gets worse. Doc vs. "Stiles":
Dr. Emmett Brown fills the role of mismatched, non-teen best friend that seems very popular in 80’s movies. Whenever I watch Back to the Future, I can't help wonder what brought Marty and the Doc together in the first place. The love of science? Well, it is pretty clear from the outset that Marty doesn't know shit about anything outside of "4 by 4's" and "going to the lake." Delving any deeper into this may uncover some relative unpleasantness, so I will quit right now.
Anyway, Doc Brown's character does two things: advance the plot and provide comic relief. He certainly advances the plot, for without his flux capacitor, the movie would have most likely been a gritty home video of Marty and Jennifer shacked up at the lake. Unfortunately, Brown's problem is that he is not that funny, which makes comic relief hard to provide. He has a few moments, but in general Christopher Lloyd somehow overacted a part written to be overacted. This also occurred with Screech Powers on Saved By the Bell, and he wasn't funny either.

(He does admit he was a little hard on Doc.)
-M: *eyes narrowing* I don't know shit?-
-D: Everyone has the right to their own opinion about Chris Lloyd's acting, but comparing me to Screech?-
He also claims that Coach Finstock is better than anyone else in the movie, spells Biff's name wrong (Tanner as opposed to Tannen)--
-VM: Who cares about that?-
And he ruled in favor of Teen Wolf. Now, nothing against that movie, mostly because I have never see it in its entire-ity. (Not sure how to spell that) But I'm pretty sure most people will agree with me that BTTF's way better.

Okay, done venting. If you are at all interested in reading the article, here's the link: http://www.thesportscourt.com/stevens030204.htm I'm going to go and decorate my grad cap with the BTTF Logo.
