Doing a Contest

On the Sims BBS, TrixeTown and VioletKitty do contest things, like "How much money can your Sims make in a set amount of time" or "Make a story about a certain subject." I figured it was about time to try one.
-D: That's new. What's the subject?-
It's an album contest, ends the 23rd. You have to do a story centering around one of a list of objects. I chose the grandfather clock.
-M: I guess it's a BTTF album.-
Yup. Another five-person house -- what kind of masochist am I? Luckily you got a job right off the bat, Marty. The story is going to be about you giving Doc a grandfather clock to welcome him home to the 1980s. You guys have a very nice rosebudded house, but only about 3000 simoleons at present. Clara's earning her cooking skills, Jules and Verne are studying, and Doc's making gnomes on a rented workbench. Marty's at work, and I'm hoping for a quick promotion.
-M: We all live in the same house?-
*blush* I think it'll make stuff easier. After I do the album, I plan to make the upstairs room into a magic lab, have Jules and Verne grow up, and have you fall in love with Jennifer Parker McFly and move out.
-J: *giggle* Sounds pretty good. But I thought you were working on an album already.-
I am! The spellbook is completely unlocked. All I need is the extra Smiley Face and Relationship Boost for Marty, and we should be set. I'll do the final spells, a wrap-up with vendor wares and pricing, their new house and growth garden, and the credits. Then I'll give them a break while I work on other neighborhoods.
-VD: Ahh, I see. Then we'll go on to Part II of your little album?-
Yup, moving into Magic Town and having kiddies. I've decided on:
McFly Half -- boy: Douglas Emmett girl: Marlene Emily
Brown Half -- boy: Jules Martin girl: Martina Julia
-M: *grin* I like those names.-
-D: *grin* Me too. Nice change from all those people who call potential daughters of mine Emily.-
I like Martina better myself. And Douglas better than Marty Jr.
