It is pouring down here! In fact, I suspect a thunderstorm. Lights are still good, but you never know. Lucky we have a surge protector -- if the lights do go off, the computer will remain running for a little while. Long enough to save stuff and shut down.
I got two new books from my day at the bookstore -- Blood of the Fold and Temple of the Winds, books 3 and 4 in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. It's a great series about magic, good and evil, and true love. I'd recommend them to people. Just be forewarned, they're long books.

Quickie Update

Played more Sims. Marie kept making excuses not to see James, so I went to the Browns and had her invite him over. Went well until the end -- he refused to hug goodbye. Marie got another promotion to Meteorologist. Jennifer's still not a Superstar, despite working her tail off and getting two great model walks. Marty's friends are currently at 18 starpower, the "cut-off" point for superstardom. Carrie Somebody is still resisting friendship, so I'm planning on whipping up some Relationship Boost. They used up the last of their Perfect Garden today, so they'll be making plans to move away soon. Right after I get James to marry Marie.
*yawn* Bed now.
