Web Blues

I can't get to Hotmail through IE. It just comes up white. And if I try through MSN Messenger, IE shuts down. I can see my e-mail through Outlook Express, which is good, but I wonder what's up with what I'm used to.
-D: Hmm, sounds like a software problem on their end.-
Could be. Some of the customers_suck people reported having similar problems. I hope this clears up soon, I don't like being without e-mail.
Free Web Town appears to be down as well. Drat, I wanted to upload some new files. *shrug* Not too big a deal, though. I was making some pretty severe edits to one of the stories.
-VD: *curious* Which one?-
"15th Surprise." I've decided to try and tweak a lot of my earlier stuff before making HTMLs of them. Since I'd like to think I'm a better writer now, it's an opportunity to give my work more polish. And to correct any factual errors, like the discrepancy in Mystie's age between "V.D." and "Play Mystie For Me."
-VD: Good idea. I deserve to know my sweetie's real age.-
*chuckle* Relax, it's been corrected in the story. On my website, the ages will match up.

It is POURING outside

And when I say pouring, I mean pouring. You can hear it coming down hard. The wind seems to be picking up too.
-D: Good thing the three of us got my Halloween message disconnected this afternoon.-
I'll say. Hey, how's your memory doing?
-D: Tomorrow is Friday and November 5th.-
Yay!
-D: *frown* Funny. . .everyone's acting like that date is so important. I can't imagine why.-
O.o Uh-oh

*throws a pillow at Doc*

Played the Lloyd house today. I noticed that Mystie has a want to Fall In Love With Doc.
-VD: So, is she the lucky lady?-
We have to consider that, of all the girls now, she also has the lowest relationship with him. Her scores with him hover around high 80s. We'll have to see. Anyway, we started halfway through a Thursday. Josie came home from work with a promotion to Junior Officer. She went to bed while Mystie called Doc. They had a short conversation. A little while later, Doc called back, and they had another short conversation. Gypsy came home from her work exhausted, and I sent all the girls to bed. They all got up very early in the morning -- heck, it was still dinner time on the fridge. Gypsy wanted spaghetti, but I thought mac and cheese would be less of a fire risk for her, so she ended up taking out two meals. I had Mystie eat the spaghetti after she beat Josie at chess. Friday was Gypsy's day off, so after the others went to work, I set about greening her up. I also traded in the shower for a bathtub -- comfort's important while bathing. Once she was set, I had her head to 121 Jigowatt Drive to get some more groceries. Doc happened to be there, playing Myshuno. I had her interact with him and get up to best friends status. After buying groceries, she made hot dogs (fulfilling a want) and shared them with the other visitors. I also had her fulfill a go swimming want before sending her home to bed. Josie came home as normal, but Mystie got a promotion to Party DJ and had to be greened to go to work that night. Josie stayed up to gather skills. Saturday was her day off, and she spent the early morning hours of it fixing a clogged toilet while Gypsy studied. Gypsy went back to bed to gain energy, as did Josie. Gypsy woke up an hour before work, and I had her play chess to get her fun up. At the last possible moment, she gained a logic skill, fulfilled a want and went platinum, and ran into her carpool.
-M: *whistles* Lucky!-
I'll say. I was half-sure I'd have to use a vacation day. Once Mystie had her mechanical skills for her new job, I had her play with the tub. It was cute -- she stood inside and pretended it was a boat. Josie invited Doc over, and the two girls interacted with him. Mystie's dirty joke with Doc flopped, but she made up for it with a back rub. Josie went into platinum mood doting on Doc. Her needs were a little shoddy after gaining her last body point, so I had her use the Energizer. Gypsy came home with a promotion to Resident, took a bath, and went to bed. I left Josie studying cooking and Mystie getting green for her job. :)
-VD: Busy day for the girls.-
They're slowly but surely becoming more solvent. It helps that there's three adults in that family, all with jobs. Plus a money tree and a budding artist.

Hotmail's back, which is good, and so is Free Web Town. *goes off to start altering her story files a tad*
