crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Let me lay it out for you:
8:20 -- I get up, I see that it's snowing pretty bad outside. Mom and Dad are worried that I'm not going to have school, and I'm thinking the same thing.
10:20 -- Well, URI is still open, so Dad and I head out onto the snowy streets.
10:45 -- We arrive at Kelley Hall for my first class, Forms of College Writing.
11:00 -- FCW starts. We discuss our previous readings and what a thesis is about. At the end of class, she breaks us up into peer response groups. We'll be in this groups throughout the semester while we write our projects and such.
11:50 -- FCW ends, and I head down to the library, eat my lunch, and complete most of my homework.
12:50 -- I leave the library and head to Rodman Hall for Social Philosophy. I arrive with a few minutes to spare.
1:00 -- SP's supposed to start, and almost all of the kids are here -- but where's Professor Marton?
1:15 -- Professor Marton hasn't shown up. By unoffical rule, we wait 15 minutes for a teacher, then it's generally accepted that the class is canceled. We head out, and I go to one of the offices to ask about payphones. The teacher inside lets me use her phone and confirms something I heard in class -- all classes after four are canceled. That means my US Lit class is not going to happen.
1:35 -- Dad picks me up at Kelley Hall, and I relay the news.
So, basically, I got to one class today.
-D: *frowning* If this keeps up, you'll never get through college.-
Heh. I didn't plan on there being a snowstorm during my second week. You can't control the weather.
-M2: *shivering a little* Unfortunately.-
-VD: *peeking outside* I don't see why they would cancel your evening class. The roads are actually better than they were this morning.-
-VD2: *also looking out* True, but we have to take into account the atmospheric conditions. Namely, the slush on the road is likely to freeze as temperatures drop further.-
-VD: Good point.-
That's what my Dad thought too. He was pretty annoyed that Marton didn't show up for class. *frowns* I hope he didn't get into an accident or anything like that.
-M: Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be okay. So this means more time to spend on "Dark Half" and the like, right?-
-D: Now Marty, she has to concentrate on her homework first.-
-VM: But she said she got that finished.-
Partially finished. I'm almost done though, just need to read some more pages. It'll be done by Friday, Doc, you know that. I'm good with homework.
-D: I know. I guess it's partially force of habit from working with Marty.-
-M: Doc, I wasn't that bad of a procrastinator.-
-D: You were pretty good. Although I'll give you credit, once you got going, you saw it through. *slight grin* And you always got your music homework done right away.-
-M: *grin back* Science homework too.-
-D: *back to me* I just want you to do well.-
Aww, thanks. *huggle*

On another note, I'm thinking of joining Deviant Art. No definite plans yet, but it's something to think about. :)
-DW: Feeling fanarty, I see.-
Blame the OckDoc bunny.
