Girl Power
Mar. 19th, 2005 07:51 pmI revisited StrangeTown to play my two all-female families, the Claytons and the Lloyds. Clara and Jennifer are doing well -- their Saturday turned into a "catch up on friends" day. Jennifer painted a picture (of two rather-frightening looking clowns)while Clara made pancakes. Jennifer had her boyfriend Marty over, he asked to bring a friend -- and brought Kimberly the firewoman. *blinku* Well, Jennifer and Marty did some joking and flirting while Kimberly ate some pancakes and Clara showered. Clara called up George and chatted with him while Jennifer finished her picture, then Jennifer called Allison Fuchs to bring their friendship up. After a nap and some lunch, Clara had Lorraine over -- more for Jennifer than for herself. She tried to call Garrett (the headmaster), but I've got a bug regarding him. When I called, he showed up as in the headmaster scenario, and when I canceled and hung up, he vanished again. WTF?

-J: Maybe that friendship wasn't meant to be. Don't want to show favoritism, you know.-
Heh. I had her call Doc instead. Later, Edward Fuchs wandered by, and I had Jennifer greet and chat him up. That inspired me to call Allison again, and this time she and Jennifer made best friends. Jennifer also got a call from J.C. Jones. Clara bathed and ended up having to fix the tub while Jennifer studied cooking. They also have an Elixer of Life now, so aging's back on.
-J2: Sounds fairly productive.-
Yup. Then it was over to the Lloyds. I had the girls earn skills in their early green phase -- Mystie painted while Gypsy studied cleaning and Josie mechanical. Josie made breakfast as Mysteria had Jim over for a little flirting.
-VD: *grrr*-
They greeted each other with pranks -- Jim ventrilo-farted Mystie, and she got him back with a water balloon.
-VD: O.o-
A chat, a flirt, and she was set. Gypsy headed for work, Josie headed for the easel, Mystie headed for the phone to call Weldon.
-VD2: Weldon?-
The fireman, her first love.
-VD: *pout*-
Weldon at first rejected her advances -- guess I'd ignored him too long, but a chat and some sweet-talk and he was willing to make out with Mystie. Gypsy got a chance card about then, about a group of senior citizens that claimed they were sick. I decided, better safe than sorry, and had Gypsy check them out. Turned out to be the right choice! She got 3 Charisma skills and 1 Body skill for her work (even though it appears none of them were sick). Always nice to get skills. Mystie and Josie were tired by then, so I sent them to bed and saved.
My tongue's burned. *sticks it out* Scorched it last night on hot chocolate. Luckily I avoided making it worse on tonight's turkey soup.
-VD: *poke* Write "Curiouser and Curiouser."-
Okay, okay.
-OD: How about drawing something too?-
-AJ: We appreciate you working on our story, but we're the FanArt muses. . . .-
