But first, it was a false alarm last night -- we didn't get much snow at all, only about an inch or so. Which is good, but still. . . .

old_biff pointed out, you guys probably get some snow in Hill Valley.
-M: Yeah, but never this much! Hill Valley has a lot of warm weather! I think we're as likely to get rain on Christmas as snow.-
-D: When we heard "snowstorm" when it's supposed to be spring -- well, we couldn't handle it.-
I know, the tentacles told me.
-M2: *blinku* How could they talk to you if OckDoc was like us?-
-VuM: They've got minds of their own, remember? Just because OckDoc's not all there doesn't mean they aren't either.-
-OD: *tentacles nod, hug him* Exactly. I heard they got you to draw?-
A little, yeah. I've got three sketches of "Sock" now. I think I'll end up inking the first, though -- I look weirder and weirder each time I draw myself.

Anyway, on to the Sims. As you might have guessed, I played Twin Oaks Park today. I first got started on the proper Brown Mansion -- I'm going to have to watch the movie again to make sure I get everything right. At least Sims 2 has a great door for it.
-VD2: That's good. How's our little Simself?-
He actually knows the least people out of the entire family -- friends with his three fellow family members, and neutral on one other person he hasn't seen since toddlerhood.
-D: Depressing, but fairly true to life. I knew people, but I had no real friends.-
*patpat* Thursday, after the kids and Elias had greened and left, Sarah got a call from Pamela. They talked for a while, and I decided Pam should be Sarah's friend. I mean, poor Sarah never gets out of the house, she needs someone to talk to. After eating, she called back for another short chat. Emily got her private school chance card -- after becoming proficient on the violin, she became an important leader in the band, and gained a creativity skill. She and Emmett are in constant platinum right now, and keep bringing home A+s. The kids funned, and Elias came home with a promotion to executive. I had him call his friends Adrian and Angard to keep the points up. Sarah also called Pamela again, and Emily called Kathy to try and make pals. After the kids did their homework and funned up again, everyone went to bed.
Friday -- Emmett and Emily made best friends shortly after waking up. Everyone ate breakfast and headed out, leaving Sarah to invite Pamela over. After some chatting, joking, and admiring, they were pals. I strengthened the relationship and sent Pam home. Sarah "bought" a thinking cap and earned another cooking skill. The kids came home and started playing -- Emmett with the new toybox toys.

-VD: *laugh* Am I FLYING that car around?-
Yup. Elias came home with a friend, Christopher Von Nostrand. I had them chat and joke, then sent him on his way. Sarah cooked dinner for herself while Emily played around with her toy stove:

And of course she baked a perfect muffin to eat.
-D: *nodnod* Emily was always an excellent cook.-
Emily called Kathy again, while Emmett beat Elias at a game of chess. Emmett also finished a picture, which he sold for 47 simoleons. Emily is now within two days of her birthday, so I'll be growing her up soon. But first, I thought this was a cute pic:
