And the end of another Era
Apr. 7th, 2005 04:39 pmAKA, I played Twin Oaks Park this morning and grew Emily into a teenager.
-D: Interesting.-
Muchly. Once again, she grew up on the weekend. Saturday was pretty quiet -- everyone had pancakes for breakfast, Emmett studied cleaning, Emily studied mechanical, the kids played with each other and their parents, and I think everyone played chess at one point. Elias also called his friend Angard, Sarah her pal Pamela, and Emily her friend Carla (making best friends over the phone, too). Emily also got a call from Rebecka. Things were slightly spiced up later that night. I'd put everyone to bed except Sarah -- she was still kinda hungry, and had a want to eat Mac and Cheese. Unfortunately, she managed to start a fire. Luckily the fireman came right away and put it out while I got everyone back to bed. There was a very cute moment, though, as Sarah tucked in both of her kids:

-VD: *smile*-
-AJ: Awwww-
Yup. Sunday was the big day for Emily. It got off to a somewhat shaky start -- the sink broke. Luckily Elias called a repairman (it was one of his wants) and had it fixed during the party. Sarah wanted to throw it, so I had her call up her friend Pamela, then later had Emily invite her friend Carla and almost-friend Katherine over (they made friends at the party). I had everyone chat until the party was at "Good Time," then went for the cake.

And with a quick blow, a shower of sparks, and a lot of clapping from the guests, Emily aged --

-- into a "mod" teenager. I was not expecting that. Well, anyway, the party ended at Good Time, which was nice -- wasn't looking forward to another disaster.
-M: *sniffle*-
The guests went home, and everyone else greened. I changed Emily's outfit into something a little more appropriate, a light sundress thing. I also had her play a little with her younger brother.
Her current Aspiration is Popularity -- I'll be changing it to Family while she's in college. Emmett, of course, will be Knowledge always.
-D: Precisely right. *nervous pause* Er -- will Lucy and Jill be factoring into my life.-
*nodnod* Sowwy. Even though I really don't think I'll have you in Brown Mansion until after college, I do want some story-centric stuff. Rest assured you will end up happily married though.
-VD2: To whom?-
Honestly? I'm leaning towards Gypsy. They have a psychology major in University, and I think it would be cool to put her through that.
-VD: Fair enough, Mystie and Josie are still in StrangeTown.-
Yup. :) Anyway, Dr. Phil Time, I'll be back later -- much later. ;)
