Work is annoying because:
-->The computer in the back went down on us, leaving us with no way to put clothes away
-->Some ladies complained and needed to have their clothes repressed
-->Some guy dropped off a huge bag of laundry with no specifications for starch on laundered shirts or such (he also had pick-ups, Bonnie calculated his total drycleaning/laundry at 249.66 dollars)
-->Some lady came in with a 20-piece order to be rushed for tomorrow. It would have been a 23-piece, but we got into some issues with the beading on the blouses she brought in -- beading is done at customer's own risk, as the beads could come off in the cleaning process, especially if they're glued on. She waffled for a while, then finally decided to ask the person to whom the blouse belonged
-->Huge line of clothes in the back while customers poured in the front
-->The back room fans kept blowing the bags for the clothes around
Work is nice because:
-->The owner brought in eclairs, and I got to eat one
-->It wasn't 9 million degrees in the back room
*sigh*
-DW: At least you're feeling rather inspired.-
Yup.
-OD: Fanart?-
I should, I should. How about new EAtHY chapter tomorrow?
-OD: *tentacles nodnod* That'll do nicely. But we still want fanart.-
I know. I want to do morphs now that I'm on a werewolf kick.
-M: We have no problem with that.-
-D: Just so long as you make an effort to write.-
I have. I've just been organizing spare Sim Papers too. But I promise you, I wrote today.
-VD: *laugh* We saw -- we're generally with you when you write.-
-M2: We're muses, remember?-
:p True. But I think now it's time for bed. One more day until the weekend -- and next week Mom and Dad should be going away for a couple of days to celebrate their anniversary (Wednesday and Thursday). I should ask to rent "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" for the days they'll be gone -- I want to check out DVD features. That movie/those books are cool. :D
