Double Duty Again
Jul. 6th, 2005 10:40 pmCouldn't decide between Twin Oaks Park or Strangetown, so I played both. Holly Handlen and Emmett Von Braun are all grown up now and waiting patiently in the Sim Bin to be placed on a lot. They actually both grew up into some nice clothes:
Adult!Holly
Adult!Emmett
Emmett Von Braun, Cowboy
Emmett unfortunately suffered a mishap with the thinking cap (damn me forgetting about his aspiration), so he's lost a cleaning point. Ah well -- he won't mind making his way up the ranks. Besides, he's guaranteed the top job after a few days of hard studying. :)
-D: *laugh* I can see Holly in that dress.-
-M: Didn't you buy the black version of that?-
I did -- we'll see if it turns up in their dresser. If so, they'll have nice, varied wardrobes with the clothes I bought.
More on that in
revison_doc of course. In Strangetown, I played a day with Adelaide and J.C. I decided to give J.C. a makeover to make her look more like me -- she got a new hairstyle, some lipstick to make her lips look redder, and some new clothes. Here's J.C. 2.0:

-VD: O.o She does look kind of like you, except for showing her belly.-
Heh, I know. Sim girls are bad about that. Anyway, she chatted up Ripp before heading off to school. I had Adelaide (who was working night shift as a Resident) call up and invite Henry over -- Henry asked to bring a friend, who turned out to be Gypsy. Strange thing happened just as they showed up -- someone called on the phone:

-OD: See, that's what happens when you mess with the space-time continuum. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more in Sims.-
LoL. Well, I had Adelaide hang up and go out to make proper friends with Henry. After numerous friendly interactions, I had Adelaide flirt with Henry -- he's so cute cause he's shy:

Sent them into both crush and best friend status. Adelaide sent him on his way with a kiss, then got to know Gypsy over the chess board.

I kinda like that all my Doctor Sims know each other :p Anyway, J.C. came home, painted, went on her shopping trip -- and while doing all that, I completely forgot about the bills. Hence, we got a Repo Man:

-D:. . . O.O-
That's what I thought.
-VD: GREAT SCOTT!-
That too. Luckily, the Smyth-Jones got off light. The Repo Man was content to suck up their less expensive mirror and depart. And since Adelaide wasn't around, she didn't take an aspiration hit either. Whew.
*yawn* Is tired. Must sleep. Glad weekend is close again. Although, really, work was okay today -- I got out on time. :)
And oh yeah, Necon next week I think. :D
