Happy 1885 Week! Day 2

September 3rd, 1885: After getting a ride and a hat from Seamus, Marty finally makes it to the actual town of Hill Valley. After wandering around for a bit, he finds the local saloon and goes in looking for information on Doc's whereabouts. Unfortunately he's interrupted by the arrival of Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen, also looking for Doc. Buford gets furious with Marty after Marty calls him "Mad Dog" and forces him to "dance" for him. Marty utter confuses him with a moonwalk, then drenches him in chewing tabbaco spit. Forced to run for his life, Marty is eventually lassoed by Buford and nearly hung. Doc appears just in time to shoot him down. Words are exchanged between Doc and Buford, and Buford vows to shoot Doc in the back. Doc and Marty reunite, and Marty warns Doc about his future death. After discovering that the "beloved Clara" on Doc's tombstone may refer to the new schoolteacher Clara Clayton, Doc decides to rescind on his promise to pick her up. Since the DeLorean is out of gas (and thus, the boys have to find another way to get it up to 88 miles per hour to get home), the duo hitches it up to a team of horses to get it back to Doc's blacksmith shop and see what they can do with it.

Played some revison_doc today -- the Robinson family, with a bit of Wooster. The Robinsons are doing fairly well, though I got a bad chance card for Marie that resulted in the loss of two days' pay and a Body skill point.
-D: *wince* Ouch.-
Yeah. Luckily they're slowly but surely putting money in the bank. Gypsy has been calling Holly regularly, and they're starting to get along better. And April has become a child.

-VD2: O.o That's April?-
I know! She DOES look like a kid!Josephine with that haircut! But she's doing well -- she and Gypsy get along fine, and she's earned her family 215 simoleons with a great performance in the play "Simerella."
-M: Child star?-
You could say that -- the money apparently came from proud relatives. :p More on them over at revison_doc.
Over at Jill's, I decided to stop beating around the bush -- Jill is now in love with Donald Patrickson.

-Docs: *grumble*-
Yup. She's also made Vice Squad, bully for her. Tomorrow, gonna play the McFlys and the Parkers, and see about getting Dave and Linda into Teenhood.
-VD: You have quite a few characters to handle in that neighborhood.-
I know. I mean, I have my focus characters -- Emmett, Holly, Marty, Gypsy -- but I have to deal with everyone else too. Ah well, I'll live -- and it adds some variety to the whole thing. Still, though, I can't wait for Nightlife. That expansion pack looks better and better. Comes out on the 15. :D
Whelp, off to write more "Eight Arms."
