Not Much Simming

I got my paycheck and had to cash that, and my other aunt was visiting to see my new cousin, so suffice to say I didn't get much time to Sim. Therefore, I skipped the Hill Valley family for today and concentrated on finishing the buildings -- because, really, I DO want my Sims to be able to go places other than Lone Pine Mall.
-M: So whatcha work on?-
Well, I did some more work on Courthouse Square 1985 -- I have turned the Courthouse/Clock Tower into a "legal library."

And the "Bank of America" spot in the square is now taken up by a small coffee shop. I still have two empty lots that I'm not sure what to do with, but hey, it's progress.

Then it was across the street to Lou's Aerobics Studio and The Third Eye -- I made some changes to Lou's, putting in a shower room and a bar.

-D: A BAR in a health club?-
May I remind you all bars in Sims 2 serve juice. The Third Eye has become my much-wanted "dive" -- two poker tables, two pool tables, and another bar. :D

All in tacky, psychedelic colors, of course.
-VM: Hill Valley's looking like a hip place.-
Thanks. I even went downtown and placed a new lot -- the Potachee Drive-In from Part III.

Still very much a work in progress, as you can see, but hopefully watching the beginning of Part III will help me finalize it.
-M2: What's that under that second row of TVs?-
Sand -- it stuck out the least, and the TVs needed to be over some sort of floor-type material. I WANTED to put driveways on there, but apparently they're disabled in community lots. :( Aw well.
-VD: *patpat* I know you'll find some way to make it work.-
Heh, yeah -- you see those "couches?" Sectional chairs. I thought they looked like car seats.

-OD: More Halloween shopping this weekend?-
Yeah, I think so. Mom should be sewing my skirt, and we still need to get my glasses and make my locket.
-J: Do you plan on doing that weird thing with your hair?-
Pardon?
-AJ: You know how Agatha's hair kinda sticks up in the back?-
Ooh, that. Hmm, dunno. Would take a lot of hairspray and some clips, I assume.
-M: Still on about the sugar cookie dingbots?-
Yes, remind me to ask my Mom about those! I think it would be cute.
-TD: You're really on about this costume, huh?-
I always am about characters I like. You should have seen me with Docette 2015.
-VD2: He can. You've still got the costume hanging in your closet.-
True. :D I'd have to dust out the wig and fix the glasses, but still. . . . How's things with your costumes?
-D: All right -- we've been recreating some of the experiments our chosen scientists have done in the labs.-
-TD: Been building Telsa Coils non-stop, it's fun.-

-TD: *smirk* I know.-
You know, it just occurred to me -- is MiniDamosCrawler dressing up?-
-MDC: *bimfs in in red bodysuit, holding a pitchfork*-
Ah, that answers that question.
-DW: A devil. Why am I not surprised.-
-MDC: *pokes with pitchfork* To the brimstone pits with ye!-
-DW: I'd eat you, but in your current form, you'd probably give me heartburn.-
*snrrrk*
-M: That was bad.-
-DW: That's why I said it.-
-OD: Well, I've got something for the top two tentacles -- Verne will be Ben Franklin's famous kite, while Jules will pose as a storm cloud with lighting coming out of it. Still don't know what to do with Albert and Tommy.-
-TD: I could make a cloud that actually shot lightning for you.-
-OD: *tentacles chitter* No thanks -- I'm rather nervous around "loose" electricity.-
-TD: Ah, right. Hmmm. . . .-
-D: Are we getting any dropbys for Halloween?-
The girlfriends, of course -- and I might invite the Harry Potter crew. I'd like to have Gil and Agatha over, though. . . .
