Preoccupied With 1955: Day Eleven
Nov. 15th, 2005 10:04 pmNovember 15th, 1955: Another "Empty Day" in canon. However, it's pretty easy to figure out that Doc built his 1955 time circuit control panel for the DeLorean today and got Marty his "Western" clothes, as Marty leaves for 1885 (and September) tomorrow.
In my Fanon Universes, this is also the day that Doc discovers Marty's letter to him. Read "The Letter" Here
Strangetown Day! I played the Clayton/Lloyd family. It was a fairly quiet Monday for them. They started the day off with some amusement and socializing.

I managed to get Gypsy and Clara to be best friends -- this just left Josephine and Clara.

-D: *beam* I love Gypsy's nightie.-
You would. Mystie got a call from Ariana, then the other girls went off to work and school, leaving Mystie and Clara (both having the day off) at home. They jammed together for a little while, then after using the bathroom, did some yoga together.

-VD: Glad to see our girls get along so well.-
-OD: I know -- then again, in real life, they get along pretty well too.-
-VD2: Yes, I was worried about Josephine and Mysteria at first, given how badly the "VDC Josie" acted.-
-VD: Good thing the "NaD Mystie" sorta balanced things out.-
Hehe. Anyway, Mystie had a nap while Jennifer and Josie came home. Jennifer funned and had some lunch while I got Josie and Clara to be best friends -- score!

Then it was time for more yoga with Josie and Jennifer -- Jennifer lost her fitness over lunch and I wanted her to gain it back.

-J: Hell yes, I like being fit.-
-J2: You have to be to keep up with these guys.-
-M2: *blush*-
I also bought a bubble blower to satisfy a want of Mysteria's -- she and Gypsy had some fun with it.

As night fell, though, the girls had to go to bed -- they were all up early, thus exhausted, besides Mystie. Jennifer lingered to call Lorraine, who had fallen to the bottom of her friends list.

Mystie worked out to gain Body and fitness until she was tired enough to go to bed too. Then I saved and headed Downtown to make my own community lot. I call it the Weird Science Club. In case you haven't noticed, I adore Knowledge Sims and Mad Scientists, and nowhere is it more prevalent than in Strangetown. I have:
Doc Brown -- Scientist (unfortunately is stuck in an Elder job)
George McFly (Brown) -- Mad Scientist
Clara Clayton -- Mad Scientist
Otto Octavius -- Future Mad Scientist, current Physics Major
Gilgamesh Wulfenbach -- Future Mad Scientist, current Physics Major
-TD: No Agatha?-
Well, maybe a Mad Natural Scientist. . . .
-H: Gil's gonna go ga-ga over the leaf outfit.-
LoL. Anywhere, here's where it is currently:
Outside. Supposed to look a bit like an old warehouse, perfect for a secret lab
First Floor: Neon bar, stuff to buy, DJ station
Second Floor: Restaurant. This isn't totally finished yet.
-D: Not bad, not bad.-
Thanks. :)
-VD2: Write "Dusky Past."-
I will, I will. I'm getting to one of my favorite parts -- redoing the bear scene chase at night.
-VM: Me falling off a cliff is your favorite part?-
It's all in the description. And it's not really you, it's your AUTrilogy twin.
-VM: Still, I speak for him here.-
How is he, btw? Does he like the record store/occasional songwriter job I gave him?
-VM: Yeah, he says it's great. As long as he's involved with music.-
Heh, trust me, all the Martys are somehow involved with music.
-VuM: *beam* Glad to hear it.-
-OD: By the way, thanks for doing something with drawing.-
You're welcome. Of course, I discovered something annoying.
-OD: Oh? *tentacles schreek*-
Yeah -- I'm no good on a large scale. I redoodled "Warsies Again" on a much smaller scale, and I no longer have that nasty elongation problem. Very annoying.
-AJ: So long as things get drawn.-
Yeah. I also drew a VERY rough sketch of TeenDoc's steamhoverboard.
-TD: *grin*-
-E: Is "Teen Doc" almost ready for posting?-
Well, "Eight Arms To Hold You" is finished except for final chapter betaing, so I'll be sending that out next, along with more "Reality Check 2." It'll be going up pretty soon I bet.
-E: Great! Because I know "Boy Genius" won't see the light of day for awhile.-
Heh, sorry, no. It's a pretty involved story and I want to get a good head start before I start typing.
-D: And of course you've still got NaNoWriMo this month.-
Yup. Working on Graffiti right now. Up to about 18,000 words. I really want to get past halfway by the end of this week. *debates on giving up sleep*
-VD2: Your sleep belongs to us and "Dusky Past."-
Good point. Off to write (and read "The Letter").
