Walking In a Winter Wonderland

As suggested by the title, we got our first real snowfall today. A few inches to be cleared away and rained on later.
-TD: *tad bit grumpy* I guess it's not so bad. I do prefer warmer weather though.-
-H: Hey, at least now we get to have hot chocolate.-
Heh, yeah. You guys like that new recipe I tried?
-M: Yeah, it was pretty good.-
-D: Certainly a change from the usual.-
Mom got some instant hot chocolate mix, and I noticed recipes for different types of hot chocolate on the packets. So I tried one out -- peanut butter s'mores. You add a tablespoon of peanut butter to your hot chocolate mix and stir in the hot milk until it's dissolved, then add marshmallows and have a graham cracker with it. I thought it was pretty tasty. Which reminds me, how's the hot chocolate maker coming?
-D: *rolling it out on a little dolly* Well, it works well enough, but we're stuck on how to make it portable still.-
-VD: On that note, want another cup?-
*gets mugs for everyone*
*Docs make hot chocolate with their device*
-M2: Mmmm, good stuff.-
-VuM: And that's cool you used my marshmallow idea.-
-VD: Yes, and thanks for that, we're trying to see if we can adapt the thermal packs we use to keep the marshmallows from melting to apply to the whole kit and kaboodle.-
It looks pretty heavy, are you SURE you can make it like a backpack?
-VD2: *studying it* You've got a good point. I think we should stop work on this one and keep it as the protypical model. I think the only one who could wear this would be OckDoc.-
-TD: Smaller then, eh? Probably would help a little with our heat issues if we were dealing with a smaller surface area.-
-OD: Precisely. We'll start working on adapting this one into a small modle tomorrow.-
:D Aww, I love it when you guys go mad scientist. But where's DocWolf?
-VD2: Said he wanted to play in the snow.-
-VM: Lucky furry.-
*frowns* That's odd, he's usually content to stay near the heater. . . .
*DocWolf comes in with a MiniDamosCrawler Popsicle*
Oooooh.
-OD: *tentacles buzzing laughter despite his attempts to shush them* Taking advantage of his Australian background?-
-DW: *grin* Yep. He won't be bothering me for a while!-
That was mean!
-DW: And all the times he's tried to set me on fire weren't?-
. . . .Good point. Put him in a container so he won't drip as he thaws.
-E: How are you doing with your writing?-
Making a few final small edits to "Eight Arms" and gathering trivia for the title page. I'm hoping to get it up on my website soon. And I also sent out the first chapter of "Teen Doc" to be betaed, and I wrote some on "Dusky Past."
-VJ: Good. We past the bathroom bits yet?-
Just about, yeah.

revison_doc updates -- Dave and Firgirl had a dream date and are going steady, and Mark Mathews is now a vampire and thus will be sent off to college with Kat soon.
-D: Interesting. I thought your first vampire would be Holly or John.-
Well, Carrie knew Countess Kendra, and I figured, what the hell?
Well, must be off, gotta go to work tomorrow. Not so sure about Tuesday though.
-TD: Why, what's happening Tuesday?-
Winter storm -- it's possible we'll get eight inches of snow.
