A Quick Update From The Elder McFlys

Things are still pretty calm around their place. I ended up reworking the house, though -- I figured they should be allowed to move further into the 20th century and not have to rely on an outhouse. Here's the new McFly cabin:

-M: Not bad. Looks more comfortable than the old place.-
Roomier too. Will spent most of his time earning skills for a job promotion -- Logic, Cleaning, and Body. Logic and Cleaning he did on his own, but Body became a team effort -- both Maggie and Seamus are dipping toward the fat end of the scale. Not surprising, as they have nice big breakfasts together.

Of course, after a while, they had to stop to clean up -- William continued on his own with yoga.

They continue to have a bit of trouble with Tannens -- Gertrude has proven herself to be as evil as Buford when it comes to stealing papers.

However, their money tree "farm" continues to do well. (Random Open for Business thought -- I wonder if you can sell Aspiration Awards? Because if you can, Doc is sure as hell "patenting" a few of his "inventions")

Seamus and Maggie remain very much in love, sharing a slow dance and some gossip (about Andrea, Will's potential love interest).

-M2: Hey, if I heard MY parents gossiping about Jennifer --
I know. The really creepy part is that Seamus has a bolt of attraction with her.
-M: O.o-
-J: I'd be more concerned with what your parents say about you -- they can be really nasty if they want to be.-
We're still mad about that "deserved better" line in Part II, aren't we?
-J2: No WONDER Marty gave up on his music, with a supportive family like that!-
Hey, wait a minute, we don't know how long that sort of talk was going on. For all we know, Lorraine started out doing her best to defend Marty.
-VJ: It was still kind of mean.-
Aaaanyway, back to the Elder McFlys -- Maggie is a bit of a neat freak nowadays, wanting to learn cleaning and such. I had her gussy up at the mirror and groom Seamus before they went to bed that night.

Will stayed up to make himself spaghetti and to call Andrea -- he likes talking about the paranormal and his job promotions best.

Really, the Elder McFlys don't get up to much. I could create a nice soap opera situation with Seamus desiring Clara, but I won't. I probably will end up inviting Doc over just to see how much Maggie likes him.
-D: *groan* The weird Lorraine/Me, George/Clara connection isn't enough?!-
Nope. :p

*hangs head* A full week of work kinda drains your brain, even when work is slow. I think I used up my brain power for the day on solving the five-star sudoku.
-VD2: You did do something, right? I mean, you HAD to have written on "Boy Genius."-
That, and I made some real attempts at editing "V.D." and "Boy Genius" via cut and paste method. Also wrote a little more on "Liquid Chocolate." Must do more tomorrow with that. Including putting revised dialogue into "World of Darkness."
