Will You Marry Me?

A visit to La Fiesta Tech proves that Strangetown's college is still in proper working order. I played the Love Story household, Otto Octavius and Rosalie Johnson. They're due to move back into the neighborhood soon -- just wanted them to have one last date before they left. So I took advantage of their EP-boosted moods and sent them out (after getting the date some more time at home with lots of jokes):

I had them visit the One-Twenty-Five Cafe first (honestly, it's kinda weird to see it in Strangetown -- in Twin Oaks Park, it's the site of Doc and Jill's date) -- they had some nice chicken and ribs. They did a lot of flirting over their meal.

They also talked a lot too -- so much that time got close to running out. Luckily things improved again once Otto paid the bill, giving me time to have them makeout.

And I decided the kissing was good enough to make Otto propose to Rosie. :p

Being on a platinum high from the date and graduation, she naturally said yes. Ah, love. :)

Me being evil me, and having spotted a townie who apparently thought Otto hot, had Otto scope the room while Rosie got them a cab. He apparently thinks redheaded Holly is cute. Sorry Otto, you're engaged to be married.

Next was a trip to Maple Springs Pool and Spa. Rosie worked out a little while Otto played chess -- basically, I wanted to run out the date. Not much to do after you've achieved Dream Date status.

Though Otto did buy some cologne to wear for his upcoming nupitals.

Then it was back home to their campus house to hang out. Otto got himself more Logic with his telescope while Rosie played computer games.

Otto also left the roses for Rosie (hehe) -- luckily I didn't get the same repeating glitch I got with her. Roses went straight into her inventory.

I left them painting together -- might as well build up a few more skill points, right?

My plan is to put a few things into their inventory, move them into Strangetown, and have Otto work up his Robotery badge while becoming a Mad Scientist. Rosie might work on Toy Crafting.
-D: Still thinking about a neighborhood-wide electronics store?-
Yeah -- though it'll have to come after those who want to be Mad Scientists and such achieve their goals.

Gonna try to get your chapter of "Liquid Chocolate" up soon. Also typed up more on "Boy Genius," made more notes about the backstory, and wrote on "Dusky Past."-
-TD: Based on the evidence, Sims does seem to help with the fan fiction.-
-OD: Probably because she plays mini-stories with them, so it helps her focus on her stories for us.-
Maybe -- though that would apply most to the days when I'm playing Twin Oaks Park. I'm looking forward to doing more with that neighborhood.
-DW: *chases down plot bunnies* You've got a lot of supernatural ones lately -- I say expect a rennasiance, VampDocs.-
-VD2: Well, my Josie segment follows his Mystie segment. . . .-
Don't be so sure, DocWolf, I also have some definite ideas for "Past Amnesia."

I love the DocAngst, sue me. Plus you'll get to bitch about her to Jennifer and your older self.

Well, now that I've figured out the whole power levels thing. . . . Still haven't beaten my old record, though:

I need to get Purple Girl's powerups more often.
