I've finally finished going through the HMS STFU archives.
-D: Finally! No more badfic to distract you from our fiction!-
-VD: Your eyes look a little glazed, though -- are you all right?-
I found Rose Potter Spork.
-VD: I thought you had already read--
This was REAL Spork. As in, THE ACTUAL FIC WAS INVOLVED.
-VD: . . .-
-VD2: Please -- I just don't want to know.-
Fair enough -- the actual fic is even worse. For anyone who actually read the scriptings I linked to, they weren't exaggerating in the least. Rose is a BITCH. I want to mangle her and hurt her and KILL HER --
-TD: Think of "Girl Genius Collection 4," Vicky.-
Ahh, yes good point! TeenDoc, SparkRant at her.
-TD: O.o That's -- not what I meant --
I know, but I've been dying to see you in SparkRant mode.
-TD: Go read that page of Gil Rant again and imagine it's me, then. I don't have that sort of temper.-
It's a RANT, it doesn't have to be your temper all the time. . . .
Played the Hill Valley McFlys today -- which turned out to be oddly fitting, as today is Marc McClure, aka Dave McFly's birthday. (The Martys have gone to visit their various brothers, and will be staying overnight to celebrate George's birthday tomorrow) I had planned to visit the collegiates tomorrow, but as April Fool's is George's birthday, I think I'll go over to the ToP McFlys instead.
Day started off like any other -- had everyone pee and get in some socializing and fun. Marty of course played guitar, while Lorraine cuddled up to George and Dave and Linda enjoyed chess.

George then got in a bit of studying while Lorraine made everyone breakfast. Dave ended up sitting away from the family -- don't you go all Percy on us, Dave.

Then, it was time for a mass skilling session. George and Marty worked on Cooking (in fact, that's basically what George did all day), Linda and Lorraine on Body, and Dave on Charisma.

This continued until Marty left for school, leaving me with the four adults (everyone had the day off). Linda seeded her Slacker career garden -- I like growing plants in that thing, honestly.

She then proceeded to spend a lot of time with Dave, and get a lot of wants to do stuff with him. Which I found rather odd, really.

-D: What's so wrong with that?-
Linda's a Romance Sim, remember? I'm starting to wonder if she's really a Popularity Sim though, she cares more about parties and talking to people than going out on dates.
-OD: I don't think the Martys would have any objections to you changing her.-
Heh, yeah, I know. Anyway, Lorraine and George continued skilling -- George getting up to a seven in Cooking, while Lorraine got that final Body point she needed for her next promotion.

Marty ended up bringing a friend home from school -- Ivy Copur. They chatted and got along reasonably well.

Jennifer has nothing to fear, though -- Marty finds her repulsive, romance-wise.

After Ivy leaves and Marty goes to green himself up, Dave and Linda get to skilling again -- this time, with Dave teaching Linda how to use his putting green. It's fun seeing Sims teach other Sims.

Inside, Lorraine and George get all mushy again. I was trying to get Marty to be embarrassed, but no luck. Ah well, Lorraine got wants fulfilled.

George then showed off his new Cooking skill via berry pie. I do like these new desserts, though I wish we got more REGULAR food too. *sigh* Ah well.

George then went to work on his novel a bit more while Linda yapped on the phone with a friend, Marty did his homework, and Lorraine and Dave used the bathrooms.

As night fell, most everyone went to bed -- they were all up at 2, after all. Marty stayed up just a little later to talk to Doc. I tried to call Ivy as well, but she was out -- oh well.

Not a particularly exciting day for the McFlys, but no heart-wrenching disasters, either.
-D: Things do seem rather static, though. You might want to start making some changes.-
Like move Dave and Linda out? Yeah, I know. Next time -- once I get all the characters out of installation/patch reset -- I'll start shaking things up more.
Very little fanfictionness done -- HMS STFU took care of that.
-DW: I don't know if I want you writing fiction after reading badfic -- the plotbunnies tend to taste rather odd.-
-D: And it helps drain your creativity -- don't lie, badfic kills the brain.-
I know, I know. I'll try to make it up to you guys.
-DW: Just keep having those anthro thoughts. I like those.-
Heh, will do.
