I Have GOT To Stop Reading HMS STFU Rants

Nope. Now I want to write rants of my own.

About BTTF, silly. Mainly, I want to take The Animated Series down a few pegs. Yes, I do enjoy the thing, and I own the comic books, but they got a bunch of things just plain WRONG.
-VM: Yeah, I know. Aging was really screwed up in there.-
I'm not even talking about that, though it is odd. I'm talking about personality transplants. Doc and Marty -- well, the only way I can truly stand them is to:
A) remind myself this is a silly kiddy show and I should enjoy it as such
B) mentally cross everything over with Sluggy Freelance, with a liberal helping of the "demon posession" storylines and J.C. Jones.
-VD: That's right, your Humorverse fics are technically set in a one-off version of TAS.-
Yup. *resists urge to write rant right here right now -- it would be fun, but I need to get to bed before midnight for once*
-DW: Speaking of rants, I believe MartyFox and I caught an interesting one.-

-MF: You thinking about Doc and his flaws.-

-VD2: Well, it's just a little odd to hear about YOU thinking of us as flawed.-

-TD: Go ahead, name three.-

Well, for me, "easily excitable" and "bendable ethics" are the two big ones. I'm not saying you're a bad guy, you just sometimes lose your head in a crisis and think that the rules don't apply to you. In fact, this is what makes you such great crossover material with Girl Genius -- you're a Spark! You're a mechanical genius, but you don't have the greatest social skills.

Yeah. CanonYou, for all the faults, is better than TASYou, if only because he treats his friends better. *resists rant*

Sorry, sorry. But yes, that line and others like it annoys the HELL out of me. Why did Marty have to become a dumbass in the TAS? Marty's pretty damn smart in canon! Who was it who realized they could use the lightning first? Who came up with the Clint Eastwood armor? Doc wouldn't befriend an idiot!

-D: In an effort to give this update some point, how did things go with fan fiction?-
Got my page done in "Past Amnesia," got some editing done in "BTTX-2," wrote some more on "Boy Genius," and wrote some more on "The Originals." And I'm getting ready to color my "Werewolves of London" picture.
