crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
And the person posting Part III of BTTF in chunks on YouTube -- saved me some possible ridicule from the parents.
-TD: What did you have to check, anyway?-
Whether Doc got to Marty before or after Buford was pulled out of the manure. Turns out it was during, so I left the fic as-is in that regard. But yes, Shot Through The Heart is up! I also included the relevant picture.
-VD: Good for you for posting. *pokes* Now how about some more "V.D." edits?-
I'm getting to them! I'm really gonna try and concentrate on Chapters 2 and 3 this weekend and see if I can't get them up.
-VD: Ah, good.-
-M2: Wait a minute, this weekend starts the 1885 week again. Aren't you kind of obligated to do Trilogy stuff?-
Nah, just BTTF stuff. Though I might try and sneak in BTTF III outtakes this weekend. And "Doubleback," I LOVE "Doubleback."
-VD: And at any rate, she could get inspiration via "Curiouser and Curiouser" -- that's a crossover with Trilogy.-
Hey, yeah! *makes note*
-DW: She did get a trilogy bunny recently. Post Part III no less.-
-Docs: *shock, horror*-
Oh, ha ha.
-M: Hey, when IS the last time you wrote Trilogy fic that wasn't set in or around Part III?-
Last December, I think -- "Spirit of the Season!"
-H: She's got a point there.-
-D: Yes, I suppose she does. It's just a little odd that Trilogy has the least fics. You'd think she'd want to do something with the fact that our Trilogy self eventually has twin girls.-
*shrug* I get caught up in the AUs, sue me. And without a TrilogyDoc to poke me. . . .
-VD2: I poke you!-
Yeah, but lately you've been poking me mainly for drabbles88.
-VD2: And how many of those are for Trilogy?-
. . . Okay then, good job.
-VD2: *grin*-
-TD: Enough of this -- what's the plot bunny?-
-MF: Working title is "Window of Opportunity," it's about a time loop--
*long pause*
-VuM: YOU DON'T EVEN WATCH SG-1!-
I know, I know! But damn it, the idea's intriguing! And I can tie it to Groundhog Day for those of us without obsessed friends.
-DW: It IS interesting. . . .-
-RPD: But how would you make time loop?-
Flux capacitor accident. Hell, I even have the times already -- 8:14 A.M. to 4:17 P.M. I've also got a couple of ideas for loop activities:
-->Prank NASA with the DeLorean
-->Get 1985Biff with manure
-->Juggling lessons
-->Show the time machine to Marty's father
-->Try and fix the clocktower clock
-->Have Marty learn German
-M: o.O?-
-VDM: It's really not that hard.-
-VM: Says you -- it's your native language!-
:p I just find the idea of YOU speaking German amusing.
-D: *chuckle* It is, a bit. Where would it fit?-
I was thinking either just before or just after the twins are born. (Yes, TrilogyDoc will end up with twins, check his bio! Martina and Johanna!) Probably just after, as it deals with a reconstructed DeLorean. Then before it, we'll have "Switching Places"
-VD: Oh no.-
-TD: What?-
-VD2: She's sticking us in drag.-
-TD: WHAT?!-
It's funny, damn it! Though now I'm wondering -- should it be "Switching Places" or "Dude Looks Like a Lady?"
-OD: *deadpan with tentacles buzzing* Trust us, we don't care.-
And anyway, then there's "Three Streets," which I still need to work out a bit.
-D: Is that the one where I'm supposed to get properly drunk?-
Yeah. I figure, a small, light enough alcohol would do it, but what? *makes plans to research later* Frankly, I'm thinking of updating all the story lists this weekend.
-OD: Probably a good idea. The kids can help if you need to find old synposes.-
Nah, I've got a handy notebook. Thanks though.
-RPD: *pokes* Do you have an Eureka update?-
Yup -- finished the library today!

Outside shot -- I went with a brick building with lots of paneling and brown and gold tones.

Inside -- there's a main foyer with college-related decorations and some electronic stuff, a coffee bar, and the main library with reading and "computer" area. That "desk" in the middle is so Sims can buy magazines.

And a better shot of the outdoor patio area, with barbeque, swing, and fruit juice kegger.
I gotta say, I rather like how it turned out.
-RPD: It does look very nice.-
Thanks. Next I'll do the gym, then the on-campus nightclub. I'll also be adding a music theater -- maybe figure out how to build a proper stage. Then it's onto Downtown. Also gonna start designing families for placement.
-M: This is one heck of a project, isn't it?-
Well, I've never started completely from scratch before! Even with the Hill Valley custom neighborhood, I had the movies for a template! It's slow going, but it's damn interesting. Though really, I'm itching to move in people.
There's also a short [livejournal.com profile] revison_doc update about the Robinsons. This Saturday is the big one -- DocBots opens!
-D: Finally!-
I know! Let's hope your business has the same luck as George and Lorraine's home bakery!
-RPD: Er -- maybe not. You only have two people for DocBots too, don't forget.-
Good point. Still, success would be nice. *fingers crossed*
And now, revisions.
