Not so good, though I did get the sleepinventing Doc and Marty drabbles88 done. Would you believe I scored 500 words exactly in the first draft?
-VD: O.O Wow, good for you.-
Yeah -- just want to give it a quick look-over before the posting, tighten up a few things. I changed the prompt number to 41. What? -- it seemed to fit better.
-M: I know that's what I'd be thinking in that situation.-
But right now, a revison_doc update is ruling my day.
-DW: Ah yes, the opening of DocBots!-
-RPD: That's really not THAT bad, I'm sure you'll have time for --

Well, you have to understand, there were a LOT of important events today -- not only did DocBots open and make Rank 1, Julia also threw the "DocBots is Open" party, AND Emmett got promoted TWICE! His current schedule is that of Status-Quo Preserver.

I know. I wish I'd started earlier now, but I got caught up in reading fan fic.
-VD2: MJ Holmes's no less. I thought you were more indifferent to her?-
I like what I have read of her stuff, but it doesn't really grab me. She writes good Doc, yes, and I love her mind-reading machine--
-D: No surprise there. *notes my O.o* We read over your shoulder. That sounds a lot what you picture me and Marty and the vampires to have.-
Aha, yes. But yeah, a lot of the synopses don't grab my attention. Maybe it's the fact she had Doc stay away from Marty for six years -- I'm a big fan of "the dynamic duo" so to speak. Either that or "everybody in--" which means Doc's family (Clara and the boys, or Mystie, Josie, or Gypsy and their kids) and Marty and Jennifer. I'm not opposed to just Doc and Clara or Marty and Jennifer, but -- okay, to me, BTTF is part buddy movie.
-VD: *grin* I suppose that's true. Oddest pair of buddies you'll ever meet, though.-
-M2: *grin* Yeah, but I like it that way. And I gotta say, I liked Holmes's description of me getting into Doc's head.-
Yes, that was nice. :) I don't think I'll ever be a regular reader, but I'll certainly pop in now and again. And I'll probably end up visiting her Sims section again too. Too bad she was never interested in Sims 2 -- SHE I'd trust to make some great Victorian clothing! Ah well, the current stuff is good for now.
-DW: Too bad you'll never play Sims 1 again.-
I don't think I CAN. Already the idea of Sims without wants and fears and aspirations is completely foreign to me. And Twin Oaks Park Emmett is too cute to give up. Not to mention the fact I get to do ANOTHER college Doc. . . . *drool*

I'm more concerned with the Time Travel major getting properly fixed. The career works great, but the major is iffy. And I'd LOVE for my official fandom Sim to be able to study Time Travel.
-J: Hey, that reminds me -- what about the girls? Am I going to be in this? Or one of the Doc's Girls?-
. . . Honestly, I haven't decided. It would be interesting to have them pick townies this time around. But I am leaning toward a Suzy Kittencall-ish version of you.
-D: And the girl? Probably Clara or Gypsy in some form.-
Let me think about it. Though given my thoughts recently, probably gonna be Clara.
-OD: Not surprised. You actually DO write a number of Clara-based universes. I just happen to go rather -- odd -- in a lot of them.-
LOL, yes. Well, it can still be AU even if it uses canon, ya know. :p
Anyway, back to updating revison_doc and seeing what "V.D." edits I can make. Might also briefly dip into "Play Mystie For Me" -- I was planning some edits to that after the first VDC, so why not?
