Actual written writing continues to stall a bit -- though it's from procrastination, not lack of ideas, let me assure you.
-DW: *looks at plotbunnies* Trust us, we all knew that.-
-MF: Why DON'T you just write? You obviously enjoy it?-
I'm easily distracted. On work mornings, it's a bit easier to keep my focus. But I'm determined to at least get my other writing project off the ground tonight.
-D: "Time Mix-Up," I hope?-
Yup. As I've stated, I'm in a futurey mood.

Halloween is almost upon us! You boys get all the decorations put up?
-TD: Yup! I just plugged in all the lights.-
-OD: And the kids just finished with the pumpkins.-
Pumpkins?
-VD: We had the giant one last year, so we figured we'd have multiple ones this year. The kids carved scenes from the trilogy into them.-
-RPD: There's six altogether.-
Cool. How about candy and cupcakes?
-D: Candy's ready to go in a bowl, cupcakes are wrapped up securely in the fridge.-
And costumes?
-VD2: WELL taken care of, Vic. We'll be all ready to go tomorrow.-
-RPD: Will the Sims be as well?-
Yeah, I'll find a spare moment, don't worry. And since this computer runs Sims faster, it won't be too much of a rush. Whew.
-DW: So we're all ready! Just a matter of waiting for the guests now.-
-RPD: This should be interesting. My first Halloween here!-
-TD: Trust me, it's a celebration you should not miss.-
-D: As long as I don't get electrocuted by the main sign again.-
I had big circuit breakers and stuff installed in the lab -- you should be fine.

Weird How Things Work

MDC came out of semi-retirement to push me into updating my webpage a bit -- you know, finally add the Wonderland family to the Strangetown Sims page and such. In the process, some other things were changed:
-->Idiot me forgot that the twins are born in early 1988. After some initially switching, I realized having them born in 1987 REALLY screwed up the Trilogy timeline, so I simply pushed "We're All Mad Here" back a year. The twins also got their birthdate pushed a month back, but the Docs say that's okay.
-TrilogyDoc: Yes, I don't mind that.-
-VD: Saves us some pain with "Curiouser and Curiouser" as well.-
I know. . . .
-->Susan now has an official birthdate! I determined that "Hearts That Beat As One," the story in which she is conceived, happens in June 1992. Following normal gestation, that means she's born in January 1993.
-D: At last!-
-->I've given the timeline a complete update, adding Holly meeting Emily, correcting birthdates, and such. (And nearly revealing a couple of major spoilers -- just edited though, so I'm safe. Whew!)
-MDC: *smug*-
Yeah, yeah, you come out of your room for non-annoyance purposes for a few hours. . . .
-MDC: More than you've done for them late *gets glared at* I'll be going. *bimfs away*-
-M: Is he even still a muse?-
I can't imagine the place without him. *shrug* At least he isn't bothering you lot 24/7 anymore.
