December's Here!
Dec. 1st, 2006 11:59 pmAnd I no longer have to feel quite so guilty about looking up Christmassy stuff.
-VD: Are we staying home again this year?-
Yeah, probably -- finances, you know.
-HD: *sigh* No trips to Florida for us new people.-
Sowwy buddy. *hugs* At least it hasn't been miserably cold here.
-D: We know. We're badly confused. HAPPY, but badly confused.-
Well, I hope you enjoyed today -- temperatures are plummetting this weekend. We've got a nasty storm moving through that's caused blizzard-like conditions in other areas.
-M: Lovely.-
-VD2: At least we have central heating in here.-
-HD: And plenty of warm drinks!-
Yes, yes, we know, your tea. Personally, I could go for a nice cup of hot cocoa. If I head to the bank tomorrow, I think I'll stop by CVS or Brooks to see if I can pick up some instant mix.
-HD: INSTANT?!-
I'm good at making soup on the stove, not hot chocolate.
-HD: INSTANT?!-
Are you on permanent repeat?
-HD: INSTANT?!?-
Not all of us are good at cooking yet, and I'm not sure on the recipe! Plus you can get instant with mini marshmallows. What do you care, you only drink tea!
-MHG: He's just always made his tea via tea leaves. Granted, the entire process is entire mechanized. . . .-
Newsflash, I live in the 21st century.
-HD: *sticks up his nose and sips his tea*-
Snoot. Maybe I won't work on "Marty In Wonderland" tonight.
-VD: Good, more time to work on "V.D."-
-VD2: And to finish the latest drabbles88.-
-TD: You e-mail that lady?-
Yup. I think I'll be starting one of the asides soon too -- Klaus hearing about his sister's death.
-TD: *sniff* Poor Mother.-
-VDM: *patpat* We're here for you, buddy.-
*hugs* Yeah. Everything will be fine, you'll see.
-DW: In the meantime, there's plenty of weird-ass TAS bunnies I can distract you with.-
-HD: More angst?-
-DW: Primarily, though she does have a humorous bit with a Doc/Marty brain switch.-
-HD: Really? Interesting.-
I'm also thinking of revising "Pool Party," my lone TAS story, a bit to get it out of my system. It helps with "Marty In Wonderland" at least.
-D: Why IS that story a TAS Universe one? It could be a regular one-off of Trilogy, you know.-
Well, Trilogy already has the "Marty Dreams Wonderland" drabbles88 fics and "We're All Mad Here." It's really all Jules and Verne's faults -- when I imagined Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, I instantly thought of the cartoon versions.
-HD: I'm baffled by those two. Jules acts like he eats thesauruses and shits dictionaries.-
*snork* He comes by it honestly, TASDoc talks a lot like that too.
-HD: And Verne really seems like a younger version of Marty. Which I guess might settle the question of "who does Doc love best."-
-DW: She's had those plot bunnies too.-
Heh, yeah. Either that or both boys accusing Doc of loving Marty more, and Doc, annoyed, retorts, "Well, I can send HIM home when he's getting on my nerves."
-OD: *tentacles buzz* And then Clara smacks him one, I'm sure.-
Or Marty, who doesn't want to get in the middle of all that.
-RPD: I wouldn't want to be in the middle of all that either. Anyway, did you get any simming done?-
Well, since we had some major wind action earlier, I decided to do some building rather than risk my frustration levels soaring with a family. I popped into Hill Valley's untouched shopping district and started on the "botique" Linda will work at.

Exterior -- roof of DOOOOM. I chose the blue just because I liked it.

Interior -- went with a green colorscheme for the opening rooms, then bright colors for the other rooms. Currently I have a clothing store and hair salon completed -- not sure what the third room will be. A gym of sorts?

The clothing store, which is yellow and white primarily.

The hair salon, which follows a pink and red scheme.
-RPD: Not bad.
eurekasims and
revison_doc tomorrow, correct?-
Yup. More townspeople in Eureka, and the Furkin in Emmett Von Braun's.
*notes time* Yeeps, better get a move on. Time to get writing.
