See, What Did I Tell You?
Dec. 5th, 2006 10:57 pmEven with a reasonable amount of customers, I got two pages done on "Time Mix-Up" and one and a half done on "The Gift and the Curse."
-OD: All right, all right. We won't bug you quite so much on those.-
-D: Though, really, you should work on them a bit more on the weekends.-
If I can ever get up before noon. . . .
-TD: Got any specific writing goals for this month?-
-->Get Chapter 9 of "Boy Genius" up, preferably in time for Christmas
-->Get the Christmas drabbles88 prompt written and up
-->Get the first chapter of "Marty In Wonderland" up
-->Write something for the December
backtothefanfic challenge
-->Do more "V.D." editing
-->Edit "Pool Party"
-->Start one of the "Boy Genius" side scenes
For that last one, I'm actually tempted to do a "When Barry Met Sarah" mini-prequel.
-TD: O.O Wow. I'd kind of like that.-
:) I thought you would. Of course, it doesn't have a happy ending. . . .
-TD: Still, I'd like to know more on their courtship.-
-D: Why couldn't Barry Heterodyne exist for MY mother?-
. . . You know, you might be the only person on earth who WISHES their mom had an affair.
-VD: It's your fault for giving us Elias.-
Hey, it's not like I was unique. Tekva gave you a hardass for a father too.
-VD2: Not like Elias, though. You and your angst. . . .-
*rolls eyes*
-HD: Still on a TAS kick I see?-
Sort of, yeah. I'm watching the episodes I taped off the FoxBox. Helps with "Marty in Wonderland."
-DW: And of course with editing "Pool Party." Surprised you're going back to that story.-
Well, mostly I wanted to have Jules give Marty an ACTUAL apology. I'm not doing anything too major.
-RPD: How about the Sims? Did you get to the Claytons?-
Nope -- I got on at 8, and I didn't want to be on forever -- I may be able to stay up later, but I can't stay up like on a weekend. I did get all three pets done:

Strangetown Einstein. He lives with the Browns.

Edison, Einstein's half-terrier puppy. Small dog who takes after his mom, but has some of Einstein's coloration and fur. He lives with the Claytons.

Krosp I, emperor of all cats. He must languish in the Sim Bin until Agatha and Gil graduate.
-RPD: Not bad.-
-VD2: I noticed my Edison's look changed while you made the Sim version.-
Yeah, I never really pinned him down to a look before. You think he looks all right?
-VD2: *grin* Yes, he does. Quite a bit like his father, actually.-
Cool. :) I also dropped in to finish that Brown day that was abruptly cut off before. Doc woke from his nap and talked to Emmett L about his skills -- "Keep studying and one day you'll have them all maxed, like me!"

He then praised new member Einstein for being a good boy with his bone. Einstein started out with the highest relationship to him -- it's FUNNY how my game "reads the script" sometimes.

Einstein got acquainted with George, who praised him for calmly sniffing instead of barking.

Then Einstein and Doc both had a snack.

Emmett L praises Einstein for eating pet food -- an odd thing to praise for, perhaps, but to this Doc, Einstein's been dead for a while. He's just happy to see him.

Doc gives Einstein a bit of last-minute love while Emmett faceplants in his pie. Everyone's pretty much exhausted from their early start.

Einstein chases his own tail for a while, then goes to relax in his opulent pet bed.

Then, while everyone's asleep, he digs a hole in the yard and rolls about in the dirt. Doesn't he look happy?

I would have saved there, but then, after getting some more food, the mirror came up in Einstein's interactions. Baffled, I moused over the icon to see "Pet Reflection." Turns out that at least large dogs can react to their own reflections, sniffing, barking, and romping. Cool, huh? :D

-D: *chuckle* I've seen some of that with Einstein. It took him a while to realize there WASN'T another dog in the mirror.-
LoL, cute. :) Next week I'll go visit the girls and their new doggy.
-M: You gonna breed any of them?-
No plans to at the moment, but you never know. Krosp might deign to father kittens at some point. :p
Anyway, gotta run -- got typing to do, as well as get started on a Christmas drawing.
-OD: Excellent idea. *tentacles pokepoke*-
Think I might upload the Einstein pictures to
ts2petsnaps too. :p
And oh yeah, I've updated the Holiday Wish List a bit.
