Has Anyone Seen My Get Up And Go?
Mar. 17th, 2007 11:46 pm-DW: I'm more baffled by the fact you're thinking about a movie you haven't watched in years.-
-VD: And another you've NEVER watched.-
-VD2: Well, thinking about "Beetlejuice" probably came out of the semi-obsession with "Corpse Bride" -- both Tim Burton films, both dealing with death, and we've seen at least one example of a crossover during one of her devART trawls.-
-OD: *tentacles nodnod* Emily encountering the "bio-exorcist."-
Yeah, VampDoc2's hit that on the head with "Beetlejuice." No idea what the deal is with "The Mask" thoughts, though. This seems to be a month of randomly thinking of movies I haven't watched in a long while.
-DW: I'll be on the lookout for anything "Ghostbusters" then.-
-D: Can we have any progress at all? Please?-
I'm really gonna try to get Chapter 4 of "Marty In Wonderland" up tomorrow.
-HD: *fails to threaten me with a scone* You'd better! I've been waiting for that story to update!-
-OD: Incidentally, when do you think you'll start typing up "The Gift and the Curse?"-
Summer of this year. Specifically, probably around the time I see "Spider-Man 3."
-OD: *tentacles squeal and nodnodnod* Oh, yes, that would be good timing. We're eager to see the sequel.-
Me too. Oh, I'm so hoping it doesn't suck. . . .
-RPD: Hope for the best, but expect the worst. That's all you can do.-
I know, I know. But, damn, Venom was my favorite villain before I saw the movie Doc Ock, and I'd hate to see him ruined on the silver screen.
-OD: We'll keep our fingers -- and pincers -- crossed.-
Same here.
In other news,
revison_doc update -- Marty has a rocking party, but ends up getting robbed the next morning. Life comes at you fast, doesn't it?
-M: Sucky luck, that's what I say.-
Yeah, same.
-TD: By the by, the almost-muse you refuse to name is asking if he can have a room. He's been sleeping in the lab so far, but I think my latest escapades down there frightened him.-
-VDM: *unable to resist* Did he wet his combinations?-
-He-I-Will-Not-Name: *off-"screen"* Why did you have to mention that, Mother. . . .-
I suppose we could use a guest room anyway. *makes one in the attic, next to HatterDoc and co's room* Frankly, I'm surprised MDC hasn't driven him out.
-TD: I'm surprised living with US hasn't. Granted, he has seen -- and nearly married -- the walking dead, but that's not exactly the same thing as living with Sparks or vampires or ghosts or a limited telepath or anthromorphs.-
-OD: Hey, where am I?-
-TD: *grin* I'm including you in Sparks.-
-OD: . . . *smiles* Thanks.-
-HD: I suppose I'm under said category as well?-
-TD: Yup.-
He's a bit more than a Spark, he's -- he's -- he's Doc Brown as the Mask, actually.
-D: . . . That description actually fits, and it frightens me a bit.-
What scares me is that everything here comes full-fricking-circle. How can all of my obsessions be interlinked like this?
Anyway, off to procrastinate on writing. I'm YouTube's bitch lately.
-Docs: *deadpan* We've noticed.-
