crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
And happy belated birthday Dave! Would have said something yesterday, but playing Emmett Von Braun's house takes up a LOT of time.
-RPD: To be fair, it only took so long last night because you started remodeling the place.-
True, true. But still, with all that pausing and stuff I had to do in the store. . . .
-VD: I'm amazed at how successful that place has become.-
Me too -- they're up to Rank 7, which I think makes them equal with George and Lorraine. People are finally starting to buy the expensive stuff too. It's great.
-TD: But exhausting.-
Yeah, poor little Sims. At least I'm not shy about using Energizers when I need to. The Eureka Sims don't have that luxury yet, ya know. Emmett needs to start inventing some of these aspiration awards.
-TD: Well, get on it then!-
I'm trying, I'm trying!
Anyway, updates:
-->Chapter 5 of "V.D." is up!
-VD: *applauds* At last.-
Yeah, I know. I'm just glad I managed to figure out how to handle that one paragraph of exposition that was bugging me. Chapter 6 should be easier, though I'm tempted to figure out a way to bulk it up.
-VD: We're here if you need us. *pause* Well, I am, Marty's visiting his folks.-
Heh, I figured.
-->New drabbles88, which doubled as my [livejournal.com profile] backtothefanfic challenge fic:
Drabbles88 -- Prompt 42 )
-->[livejournal.com profile] revison_doc and [livejournal.com profile] eurekasims updates -- Julia's gotten settled in at college, while Allison's working on her toy skills and making friends for promotions. I've decided to try and play the villagers in chunks to keep up the schedule, and perhaps try playing Emma and Emmett for longer periods. I'm eager to get back to Emmett's patch of tomatoes.
-RPD: Weren't you going to video Julia entering college?-
I tried. It just wouldn't go. *grumble* Maybe I should have hit the V key earlier. . . .
-D: Well, there will be other chances.-
Yeah. I hope I can get it for Eureka's Emmett and Marty, at any rate.

Anyway, I'm off to read some spork and write some stuff. Also may do some late-night BTTF watching. :)
-VD2: Sounds good to me. So long as it isn't that depressing "George's tombstone" scene.-
Oh, no, no. Perhaps "Earth Angel" -- if the DVD doesn't go iffy on me again. *suspicious*
